"So you finally face your fears foolish girl? I thought you were just going to lose it and take your own life, but this turns out as well." A raspy voice seeming to come from nowhere laughed at me. The creamy hand wrapped around my throat as I felt hair tickling my face. I looked up at it and met a fox mask decorated in yellow swirls and marking.
Before I even think I cursed the heavens. Damn you, God, I told you to have mercy.

Reino's P.O.V
I looked up at the entity that stood before me, trying to remain solemn in expression as it bowed to get closer to my face."Hello girl, you have been bathing me in blood for over a decade and still don't respect me enough to greet me? How rude." I sputtered out incoherent words as I bowed and reached for the bottle of sake to pour a cup for it.
'Why are you pouring a cup of sake? What are you doing? Stop!' I stilled my dry expression never left my face. I dropped the bottle of sake and it crashed into pieces, its beautiful fox mask morphed into a distorted face of a woman with a painted stream of tears falling down her face. I stared at it in disgust at its new form. Whatever this creature was my master had dealt with it and spoke with it for many years so why should I not be able to? In my deep thought, the being took it upon itself to sit. I broke off from looking at the table to the being. It looked upon the table and picked up the tea powder I had been gifted recently by my dearest friend, Chro. It's long nails grasped on the handle of the golden spoon and dug in the small bowl for the fine particles.
A smooth dark purple was raised in the silver spoon. I looked toward the apparition once more out of courage and noticed the woman who was once crying was now normal leaving no trace of the carved tears of periwinkle. I was utterly shocked by this strange ability but still sat motionless, refusing to let it phase me.
A thud sounded from the table and I still refused to even glance down. I looked into its eyes and It looked at me( I could only assume) then its mask morphed again this time into a man with a sighing face and a bright blue single sweat mark. I sighed and grabbed what it slammed on the table. Hot tea, It was for me I straightened and took a small sip.
It was as delightful as always a brew made especially for me by Chromethos who had prayed for a good long night for the materials to make this. He chose only the rarest flowers to make it and so he prayed for their blooming right in front of them. The Kadupul flower and the Youtan Poluo were the two components of this I was surprised to hear he wished the Youtan Poluo to bloom now when it was scheduled to bloom at the least a thousand years further down the line and to make the luminescent purple hue he added jade vines which made the drink much more earthy in taste to suit me.
I reminisce about that day and sighed in bliss. The being seemed to just watch and waited for me to finish my tea. As I finished I set the cup down and a sharp steel was pointed to my pale throat. I did not react, I had assumed it would get to this point beforehand and prepped myself to handle this moment since the mask had changed. Now the mask was a grinning fox with sharp teeth and red pupils.
I pushed the blade away and pulled the blade the perpetrator originated from towards me. It seemed to have laughed and swung an imbalanced arm at me. I scowled and it seemed pleased with its actions. I then swung Killer Daisy at it and to my theory, it went right through him as they both rippled into liquid metal and then back to their previous form. I sighed and slumped down and the creatures mask changed into a curious child oni as it kneeled by my side and took a seat. I frowned at and breathed out "Why are you such a curious beast?". It shrugged and sighed out "That's just how it is supposed to be." It answered and then stood again. "You must be sending me back now." I nodded in a daze and set the Killer Daisy down and watched as the creature carefully stepped back into the blade, waving on its way down.
I was dazzled by how quickly it changed back and forth from friend to foe. I sighed and wento to look for Folish to mess around with. I was searching for quite some time and ran into Rose. I was on the verge from of asing her a question when she happily grappled onto my shoulerd.
" Griffith invited the higher team to dinner in a kingdom." She squealed, I groaned and we both chatted about the plans to go eat with the bunch. Thinking back on the night of our celebration feast and how awkward it was. I shivered and went on my way worrying about what would hapen at the dinner.
I had long forgotten looking for Folish and was now just mopping around letting my fingers brush past the tarp of the tents. I was near the border of our bought camp and looked up to curse at God once more. But as I squinted I spotted a wisp of a familiar white. I chose to ignore it as a wild stallion but a hand was placed on my shoulder. I looked down at it with wide eyes and screamed.
As I looked up expecting a forest guardian or monster of some kind I say a frowning Griffith with Casca staring at me in shock and Guts gripping his stomach as he laughed.
"I am sorry. I came to ask if you would be at the dinner in the next three days." Griffith asked rubbing a slender finger across my shoulder.
