This is a flashback and Jacob telling y/n about his experience.

y/n ran into lotte worlds entrance like a little child running down the stairs to open their Christmas presents, so happy and excited.
"Look!" She exclaimed and dragged him towards a rollercoaster line.
"Woah slow down princess, we have the entire day," He chuckled and patted her head, but she just showed him a cute pout.
"But I'm just so excited." She chuckled and showed him a beautiful smile.
"Then let's go!" He said and dragged her towards the cart.
After a bunch of rollercoaster rides, y/n spotted a stand where the prize was teddy bears.
"Jacob!" She said and dragged him towards the stand, "Can you win me the white seal?" She asked and pointed at a small white seal with black cute eyes.
"Sure." He chuckled as he picked up the three red balls and threw them at the cans and knocked them over.
The woman in the stand handed Jacob the small seal and he passed it on to y/n.
"What's his name?" Jacob asked and pulled her in for a hug.
"I think I'll name him'"
"Kian" Y/n suddenly interrupted in the middle of Jacob telling his story as he told about the seal.
"You remember?!" He exclaimed and looked at her with hopeful eyes, but the girl in front of him simply just shook her head.
"I only remember Kian." She muttered and took her hands to her temples and rubbed them.
That day Jacob went home smiling like an idiot, he had new hope.
He pulled the photo book out again and looked at the picture from when they went to the park on her birthday.
