The Pull (the young womans point if view)

Sitting on the beach waiting for a chance to commit suicide, Scarlet writes her note.

Dear reader,
If you find my body I drowned and committed suicide.

Suddenly Scarlet hears a beautiful song in a foreign language. She feels a strange pull towards the sound. I must follow the voice! She thought. Scarlet walks down the beach to the song. When she reaches the cliff she can't believe her eyes. Scarlet is staring at a mermaid, Scarlet walks closer and closer till she is right on the edge of the cliff. She steps off the cliff, as she plummets to the swirling water she snaps back to reality. Oh my god!!!!!! She lets put a high pitched shriek as she falls.

Scarlet splashes into the water and is tossed and turned by the strong current, then a thought occurs to her. This is what I wanted. With that thought she gives in to the current as it pulls her down. Her lungs are screaming for air but she ignores it. Scarlet starts to see a white light before her. This must be it, I'm dead. She thought.
