Terabithia

AN: Yes this is from Bridge to Terabithia and it's an AU because it just came to my mind that what if Peter Pan came to Terabithia. I thought it'd be cool to see an interaction between Pan and someone new. I hope this imagine didn't come out creepy 😂 pans interaction so precious.

Little May Belle finished her homework and snuck out of the house while Jesse was in his room drawing. She ran to the forest where she was crowned Queen of Terabithia. Usually she would wait for her brother but this time she wanted to go alone. Her adventure couldn't wait because she had a mission to defeat the creatures that have yet again claimed to attack the territory.

One of those hideous looking creatures came after her and she tripped over a stretched out limb from a tree and landed on her stomach. Tears began to stain her little red cheeks and as she cranes her head to see behind her the creature leaned up ready to strike. A screech of horror ripped from her throat until she heard a voice cry out. "Off with ya foul beast" a boy in green attire strikes an arrow into the beast with a smirk growing wild across his face.

May Belle glanced up surprised caked in grass and dirt. The boy reached out a hand for the little girl who was no older than nine? Perhaps. She placed her dainty hand in his and he hauled her up to her feet. When she got a closer look at him he had green eyes and tiny patches of dirt plastered across his cheeks and forehead. "T-thank you" She squeaked.

"You should be more careful woods are a dangerous place" the boy says with a toothy grin.

"I-I this is my forest and not just any it's Terabithia" May claims in a glorious manner. She dropped his hand from hers and folded them across her chest.

The boy chuckled, "whats you're name kiddo?" He asked.

"May Belle, Queen May Belle" she says with a small smile. She remembered she had never seen this boy before not even on the bus or at school.

"I'm Peter Pan" he claims stuffing his sword back its placeholder.

May gasped with wide eyes "you mean 'the' Peter Pan?!" her jaw dropped.

Pan chuckled, "the very same" he watched her eyes light up with such amusement.

"I think Terabithia could use some magic perhaps a guardian" she says with a small smirk and precious giggle.

"Really?" Pans eyebrow quirked up.

"Yes, I am Queen after all and it would be an honor" her voice was small but she oozed with confidence.

"Well lead the way Queen May Belle" Pan played along and bowed his head gesturing a hand further into the forest.

She did just that and took his hand leading him towards the palace. The adventure begins and for Peter this was indeed a fun game full of imagination. Unlike Neverland he was to play it the girls way and he didn't seem to mind it he was a child at heart and was not afraid to use his own imagination no matter what. He'd never grow up so what did it matter. May Belle just fueled his magic with her own belief and wonderful imagination.
