Chapter 7

Showing up at the party with a sexy devil for a best friend and a girl with a tail and canines for myself, we had a lot of looks, but let’s face it Halloween is to be a slut and not hear a thing about it. I smiled the best I could to the kiss asses that kept repeating ‘happy birthday’ and hugging me tightly.

“Hello again,” Jayce’s smile was warm as he wrapped an arm around my waist. He was wearing the same dark clothing he had been earlier today, only now he had fake blood splattered on his shirt and fake bite marks on his neck.

I cringed away from Jayce and gave him a small smile. “It’s…” I faltered for words, I wasn’t pleased or happy to see him again, but here he was. He smirked, taking my lack of words as a good sign.

“Let me get you a drink,” Jayce said as his hand found mine and roughly pulled me through the crowd of people to a table filled with drinks, and instinctively I grabbed my own beer bottle and popped the top. I barely glanced at Jayce as I put the bottle to my lips and took a big sip, the liquid burning the back of my throat as it made its way down, and leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

I looked out at the people around me as my body began to relax. Caine wasn’t here, I couldn’t feel him or see him, but with another drink of alcohol I felt my mind let go of him so my feet could move on their own accord.

Had I put the bottle down there and tried to just have a sober time, I might not have gotten hurt, but bottle after bottle I drank. Only to result in a night that would leave me hung over and crying in pain.

I stumble around the woods, further away from the noise and light of the party. What was I doing again? Didn’t I have to pee? God, where was Kendra? I kept going until I came to an old creek bed and I kneeled down there, splashing my face with water.

“Wasn’t I meeting someone?” I asked the fishes swimming by in a hurry to stay away from me. I groaned as I stood again, a breeze blowing past me causing a shiver to run through me. I rubbed my arms, thinking of where to go.

The sound of a twig breaking had me turning around slowly as the clouds that had been covering the moon moved aside. The sliver of light from the full moon allowing me to see the glowing blue eyes in the trees; I stood there for a moment, my body trembling as I stared at the eyes but with a scream rising in my lips I turned and stared to run down the stream.

My feet were pounding on the forest floor as I ran along the creek bed; it would soon come to an end at the high way I knew it. “HELP!” I screamed, but deep down I felt the pull of thought that said no one could hear me.

Something landed on me and I fell to the ground. I felt the wolf on top of me shifting as hand pined me down to the ground. I turned my face away from them, struggling to move.

“I will have you,” Said the animalistic voice above me and I screamed. “Shut-up!” He screamed, as his hand closed around my throat and I nodded. I felt his lips on my exposed shoulder as his other hand moved to my inner thigh, pulling at the material.

“Please, don’t,” I whispered as tears began to fall freely. “I won’t tell anyone, please,”

He laughed as he covered my eyes and I felt the tip of his penis enter me. I screamed in pain as he did so, and teeth bit into my stomach, the pain unbearable as he laughed and the fire under my skin burned from his bite.
