Chapter 9 : 6 Months

*Zonnique's P.O.V*

So I'm 6 months pregnant and today's the day that Tay and I find out what we're having! I tried to wait closer to my due date to find out what I'm having because we would've been buying stuff already. Tay is still asleep, and I'm laying here talking to my baby I honestly don't care if we have a boy or girl, I just want it to be healthy. Tay hasn't said what he wants it be but I think he wants a boy, but then again I could be wrong. I finally got up and took a good hot shower. Once I got out Tay was awake. Before Tay got in the shower he told me goodmorning and gave me a kiss. On the way to the doctor I asked Tay if he wanted it to be a boy or girl. He responded, "I'll tell you after we find out because I don't wanna say then it'll be the other gender. Even if it's not what I want it to be, I'll still be happy and love it as long as it's healthy". We just arrived at the doctor and went straight back. The nurse said everything looks good, and asked if we were ready to know the gender. We both say excitingly, "yes ma'am"! "It looks like you're having a healthy baby girl. If you have no further questions you can head up to the front desk to make your next appointment", the ultrasound tech states. When we got in the car Tay said, "now I have my queen and princess". He looked so happy that we were having a girl. I already know he's about to spoil her. Since I know that we're having a girl I can start gathering stuff for the baby shower. When we got home I asked Tay what did he want to name our little princess and he told me that he wanted to name her Rylei Lynn.
