Chapter 13 : Graduation Day

*Zonnique's P.O.V*

I've been waiting on this day all my life. I never expected to be pregnant for my high school graduation though. I'm not getting too fancy for graduation. I mean I am 9 months pregnant. Rylei's been kicking a lot and I've started having a few contractions. The doctor said that was normal since I'm getting close to my due date. After graduation will probably go out to eat. On the way there Tay told me I looked beautiful. Once our whole class received our diplomas, our class president called Tay to the stage. I was confused because I didn't know what was going on. When Tay got up there he told me to come. "Zonnique Shamari Harris, I love you to the moon and back. You and our babygirl are my world.", Tay said. He began to get on one knee and a tear ran down my cheek as he asked me to marry him. I responded with, "of course I will marry you".

My parents, Tay's parents, and us went to Chili's after graduation was over. I had been craving one of their Bacon Ranch Quesadillas. After the first couple of bites Rylei started kicking. I took another few bites and I started feeling some real sharp pains. Tay decided to take me to the hospital. When we got there they told me I was in labor and I had already dilated 3 centimeters. Tay called our parents to let them know. After six and a half it was time to push. Going through labor was really rough, but it was worth it. I finally got my princess. We had a beautiful 6 pound, 4 ounce baby girl. We named her Rylei Lynn LaBranch. I didn't know I could make something that gorgeous.Tay was speechless when he held her for the first time. Later that night, I was laying down while Tay was playing with Rylei. I over heard him telling her that she didn't have to worry about a thing, whatever she wanted it was already hers.
