After some convincing Auggie decided that he was ready for school and, plus I'd be there the whole time to help. So today we were going on a tour of our new school, and I was soooo excited. That morning getting ready I was practically singing a whole concert, I'm pretty decent at singing but only my family knows that because I annoy them with my voice constantly. Anyway, we all pile into my moms van. I excitedly run into the school while my mom walks behind with Auggie. We get welcomed by a nice lady named Mrs. Garcia, and are guided in to the principles office.
"Hi nice to Meet you my names Mr. Tushman." Auggie at least made an attempt to hide his laughter, but I was very obviously snickering behind my. That got me a very disapproving look from Mom and an apology to Mr. Tushman.
"No its alright they can laugh I get it a lot," He smiled, "So," he says "you must be August," he then turns his head to look at me "and you, you must be Aurora. Ive heard great things about you both, and we've arranged some students to take you two on a tour of the school."
At that both of our heads snap to mom. I know Auggie is not gonna be happy about meeting these kids.
