THESE EVENTS FOLLOW THE DISTRESS CALL OF PENELOPE THE GOLDFISH
As soon as Craig sat Penelope onto the railing of the beach shed, the distress call that she wanted to tell the sea creatures began to formulate in her mind. She watched as Craig left the shed and then breathed in deep, taking in a huge breath of water. She went to the bottom of her bowl and propelled herself out of the bowl and onto the sand below her. She flopped quickly to get to the water that lapped under the shed. She was quite sure if she would survive in the salt water but in order to save the poor boy that was being tortured by that madman, she would do anything. She had watched that crazy man practice what he would do to Travis on her friend, watching her die and cry out in silent pain of the human.
She finally plopped into the water and breathed in the water, though it was full of grit from the salt and other things floating but she swam her little fins quickly to the first fish she could find. She found a group of minnows.
"Hey! Hey, stop!" The group swam to her and all turned their little heads at her curiously. "Can you all speak?"
"In unison." They all said at the same time.
"Can you communicate to other fish?"
"In bigger unison." They said.
"Tell them that the seahorse boy, Travis, is in trouble. I need to get word to the old lady. Can you do that for me?"
"Will do."
The minnows swam off and Penelope sighed, floating to the ocean floor and looking up through the waves of the ocean. I did it... I did it... The high salinity in the water overtook Penelope's sensitive system and she gulped on last time.

The minnows find their brethren and told them of what Penelope had said and they formed a humongous group of them to find the closest fish they could relay the message to. On the way, one of the minnows spotted Penelope's body and they made a spout underwater to make a hole in the sand. The pushed her body under the sand in order for scavenger fish not to pick at her remains too early. They rushed out and finally met up with a school of bass and relayed the message. The bass then began to shout it all over the ocean to anyone that would hear, alerting the clownfish swimming on the coral reef. His name was Kip.
Kip rushed over to the community of seahorses that liked to hang around the reef on the kelp and flagged down one of the seahorses.
"What is it?" the seahorse said with a glare.
"One of your seahorses is in trouble. A Travis or something..."
"The seahorse boy?" another seahorse said, a seamare so it seemed.
Kip nodded. "The bass are yelling it all over the ocean. I'm sure there are others who have heard about it."
"We must tell the seahorse community. Thank you Mr. Clownfish."
The two seahorses raced away to go and tell the others. They all agreed that they should tell the Seahorse King.

The yelling bass caught the attention of the ever gossiping tuna, who in turn caught the attention of some dolphins who were playing in tuna schools.
"Hold on, Travis the seahorse boy is in trouble?" one of the dolphins asked a school of tuna.
"Yeah. Little fresh water fish risked it's life to tell a school of minnows. Everyone's spreading the word."
"Have they?"
The tuna swam away in a flurry as a huge great white shark glided its way into view. The dolphin eeked and stared at the shark.
"I have no business with you shark."
"Please. I have only overheard that a seahorse boy has been captured. Sharks are forbidden to eat the mer-kind..."
"As it should be."
The dolphin and the shark stopped arguing as something swam toward them.
"Seahorse King."
"I have heard the words of my subjects and the cries of the fish. I have talked with the Shark King as well as the Dolphin Queen and we have come to an alliance. You will be given instruction on how to save my son."
SO ENDS THE UNDERWATER EVENTS AND THE TRAGIC DEATH OF PENELOPE THE GOLDFISH
Travis stared at the ceiling as he felt a shiver run through him. It hurt to move, the knife in his side digging into his body with each shiver and the cold air hurting the exposed gashes in his legs. He knew he was bleeding all over the place and was starting to hear where the blood had finally seeped off the table and was hitting the floor.
Travis wondered what he had really done to deserve all of this brutality. Ever since he was younger, everyone just seemed to be against him at every turn all his life. Another shiver passed through him and a cough, which jarred the knife that was in his side. He knew there was nothing he could do and so he just laid there in agony, hoping the little goldfish kept to her promise.

Ruth blew her nose into the Kleenex once more as Josh and Aylin came in from outside and she looked up. They both shook their heads as she began to cry again. Esper was curled up in one of the chairs as she looked out the window.
"What are we going to do?" Ruth said, trying not to hiccup as she spoke.
Josh sighed and sat beside her, rubbing her shoulder.
"I don't know, Ruth. The police are trying to look for him as well but there is only so much that they can do. I mean, it's not like we had a tracker on him and his cell phone was found in the trunk of his car where he was taken. We're only human."
Aylin looked at Esper as she sniffled and went over to her, grabbing her up softly. She looked up at him and then wrapped her arms around him.
"I want Daddy." She said.
"I know you do but we can't find him at the moment."
"Is he okay?"
"I hope so... Don't you worry, we'll find him."
"Captain Patchy Patch, where's Shiny? She can help us, right?"
"There's nothing much she can do but she can help us look for him... Do you want me to call her and see if she'll help find him?" Esper nodded. "I'll give her a call, alright?"
There was a knock on the door and everyone looked up in expectation. Josh got up and went to the door, opening it. He did not see the police however but four very naked people standing in the doorway.
"Um..."
"Salutations. We are looking for Ruth." One of the men said with a deep voice.
Joshua just pointed inside the house and the quartet walked into the room. Aylin covered Esper's eyes just in time. In the living room were two men and two woman, all naked, and all soaking wet.
"Pardon our intrusion," one of the men said. "But I believe we might be able to help you."
Ruth pointed to the stairs.
"Josh." She said, her voice a little high. "Please get our guests some proper attire... um... And some sweats for the pale one."
The pale man looked down at his distended belly and gave a frown to Ruth.
"You dare look down upon my progeny?"
"No! No... I just don't have regular pants that will fit you... um... Where are you from?"
"We are from the sea." A petite young woman said. "I am Dorsella, the Dolphin Queen."
"I am Medusa, the Dream Caster." A more plump woman said, her curly black hair everywhere and yet perfect at the same time. "I am also the ruler of the octopi."
"I am Crowt, the Shark King." The dark and very muscular man said beside Medusa.
"And I am Aquarius, the Seahorse King." The heavily pregnant man said.
Ruth looked at them and then over at Aylin, who looked just as bewildered.
Josh came back down and held out the pants and shirts to the royal party.
"Us humans have a thing about decency. I know it will be a little uncomfortable but please humor us for a while." Josh said nicely.
"I wanna see, Captain Patchy Patch!" Esper growled, fighting Aylin's hand.
"You can't until I tell you."
The royal party put their respective clothing on and looked rather uncomfortable in them but at least they were clothed. Aylin finally took his hand from Esper and her eyes lit up.
"Wow! So pretty!"
Dorsetta smiled at the little girl and Josh brought chairs in to let them sit, especially Aquarius.
"Thank you, Human. Standing is harder than floating..." he said with an exhale as he sat down.
"So..." Aylin said. "What brings the royalty of the sea here in the old hag's living room."
"We have heard that the seahorse boy has gone missing." Crowt said, folding his massive arms. "We can help you find him."
"And how is that?" Ruth asked.
Aquarius smiled. "Ruth, my dear, who do you think gave my son to you?"
