Travis looked at the door as Shana just stared at him and quickly put his hands over his privates.
"I'm sorry! I thought you were going to be a little bit."
Shana just blinked, sat the tray on the chest of drawers, and walked away. She'd been mentally scarred for a little bit and so she just went downstairs and sat on the couch, staring into nothing. After a few moments, her mind began to function again and instead of shock, admiration came into her thoughts. She had to admit that he was pretty well endowed. A naughty grin crept onto her face and she found herself blushing and giggling. She finally composed herself and went back up the stairs, knocking this time.
"Come in."
She peeked her head in and saw that Travis had grabbed the plate and was eating his breakfast in the bed.
"I'm so sorry, Shana." He said, his cheeks going red as he ate some of his food. "I didn't think you'd be back up that quick."
"It was my fault; I should have knocked. I thought you said you couldn't get up?"
"I meant I wouldn't be able to go down the stairs. It took all I could do to get up then but I had to use the bathroom and I needed to stretch my muscles a little. It hurt anyway."
Shana nodded and looked around a little.
"You're very beautiful..." she said softly.
Travis looked up with a startled expression as she blushed hard and he smirked at her.
"Why, Shana Grey, I believe you admired my nakedness in a most naughty manner." He said with a grin.
He didn't think Shana could blush any harder than she was but she was proving him wrong with every minute. He finally couldn't help but laugh at her and she glared at him.
"It's not funny." She said with a sad look.
He smiled sweetly at her. "It's cute."
"I'm not like those other girls; my innocence is a little higher than the rest of them."
"And I commend you thoroughly. Doesn't mean it isn't cute."
Shana just cleared her throat and drew circles on the dresser.
"What are you going to tell Ruth when she comes back? I mean, she'll be pretty pissed about everything."
"I'll tell her the truth. I was beat up and you guys rescued me and took me into your home. That's all I know and that's all I'm going to say... Unless you know something else?"
"No... I just didn't know what you were going to do."
Travis shrugged as he set the tray aside.
"When I get the strength to walk again, I'll probably go back home. I should probably call her anyway; she might have left messages on the phone."
"I'll call her for you. I think your phone got destroyed in the attack."
"Damn..."
Shana nodded and left, going to the house phone. She dialed Ruth's number and the phone picked up.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Ruth, it's me."
"Shana! Thank goodness! Could you go and check on that horrid son of mine? He refuses to answer his phone."
"That's what I wanted to call you about. Something happened and he was kind of... kind of beat up..."
There was silence for a little bit. "Is he alright?"
"He's fine but he was out of it for a little while. We don't know who did it but he's awake now and fine but... I just wanted to let you know so you didn't worry."
"Do you think I should come home? I was actually trying to call to tell him that I was going to be staying a few extra days."
"No, he's fine. If anything happens I'll definitely give you a call. Did you want to talk to him?"
"May I?"
"Hold on a minute."
Shana put the phone on hold and went back up the stairs, grabbing the cordless phone and knocked on the door. She opened it and handed the phone to Travis.
"Hello?"
"My baby! Are you alright?! Shan told me that you got beaten up again!"
"Calm down, Ma, I'm fine. It's not like it hasn't happened before."
"This seems a little different if you're over at the Grey's house without Aylin being on the defense."
"They found me and took me back to their house to help me out."
"Found you?"
"Yeah, whoever it was that beat me up just left me on the road."
He heard a gasp. "Do you think we should come home?" she asked to him or to Josh he wasn't really sure.
"No, Ma, I'm okay. I promise... It was the cold rain that made me get a little weak but other than that..."
"Did they see that?"
"If they did they aren't making a deal of it. Besides, I don't remember feeling it." He said in a hushed tone.
"Are you sure I don't need to come home?"
"No I'm fine."
"Alright... well... I guess I'll just stay the extra days I was going to."
"You guys just need to get married, okay?" he said with a grin.
"Don't make me punch you through this phone, boy. I'll see you soon."
He nodded even though he knew they couldn't see him and clicked the phone off. Shana smiled at him.
"When do you think you'll be beter?"
"Probably by tomorrow. I'll at least be able to walk to the house and go up the stairs and be alone in my own bed."
"Who's going to take care of you?"
"I can take care of myself, ya know?" he said with a frown to her. "I've lived this long without your help, I think I can go a couple more days."
Shana made a face but didn't say anything.

A couple days went by and Travis went back to his house, trying to do a little cleaning before Ruth got back. He hoped she brought presents with her. Not that he expected it but he wanted something new. Actually, he just wanted a present for him. He didn't get very many presents and just wanted to know that he was thought about. Knowing Ruth, she was probably thinking about him every second of the day. He smiled so himself as he dusted the lower part of the display case of old figurines. He was still pretty sore but it was better than sitting around.
The doorbell sounded and he went to it slowly, still having a hard time not jarring his bruised ribs when he walked. When he opened the door, he found Shana standing there.
"What are you doing here?" he asked.
"I had to come and see you."
He gave her a confused look but let her in and she kept her back to him.
"What's this about?"
Shana seemed to be thinking to herself and then turned around, looking him dead in the eyes.
"I want you, Travis Bagery."
"I beg your pardon?!" he said, very confused.
Shana took the raincoat off that she was wearing, revealing some very scandalous lingerie and Travis stared at her in shock.
"I want you, Travis. I've always wanted you... I've just been too afraid of my brother or Craig to say anything but I can't stop thinking about you anymore. After accidentally seeing you naked in my room, I realized that I want to see you that way for real. I want you to be my first, Travis."
Travis shook his head. "Shana, I'm not going to deflower you."
"So you say..." she said, looking at his hips.
Travis looked down and covered himself up.
"Well, damn, Shana, any man would be aroused if a girl came in with that on."
Shana walked over, swinging her hips more purposefully than usual, and put her hands on Travis' chest, wrapping her leg around his.
"I want you to take me, Travis. I want you and only you to do this... I've dreamt about you for these past few nights and I'm ready with you. I don't want Craig or anyone else to do this."
"Shana, your brother would kill me."
"He already knows about my feelings for you. I will deal with him myself." She said, starting to trail her finger down his face.
"Shana-"
She pressed her finger to his lips. "Ssshhh... Hush."
She grabbed his face and kissed him passionately, making his defenses fall rather quickly. He kissed her back with a hunger she'd never felt from another man before. He trailed her cheek to her ear, nibbling it a little and Shana turned to mush in his arms. As he trailed down to her neck, she put her fingers through his hair and pressed her body against his.
"Take me, Travis..." she whispered seductively in his ear.
There were no more arguments and he picked her up, taking her upstairs.
