The Capitol is the same as it was last time. People in silly outfits trying to decide which kid to root for, and which to let die. It wasn't a warm welcome, I was used to it. They lead us to our rooms, and left us alone for a couple hours. Later, they came in to take us to our designers. Mine's name was Pearl, and she had the idea to put me in a red dress with thorns like a rose, because district 11 is about agriculture and gardening. Now, I'm not a girl who really cares about what they're wearing, wears makeup 24/7 or has to stop to do their hair 47 times a day. As long as I'm covered up and look half decent, I'm good. But I admit, I liked it. Besides, the dress was the least of my problems.
The chariots were the same as last time, only they were doing it during the day. Bran's outfit was a cute suit covered in vines and rose petals. It was amazing. I looked at the other chariots and saw Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mallark, with outfits that were on fire. They would definitely be noticed and sponsored. I held Bran's hand and he looked at me strangely. "Relax, it's for sponsors." I mumbled. He nodded at looked forwards, up at Snow. The chariots came to a stop and the president started a speech. I zoned out. I looked around at the other tributes. They were dressed in brilliant costumes. There were Roman warriors, animals, and of course, fires. I looked back at Snow as he finished talking. I was relived to get off the chariots. Once we were away from the crowd I left to find Pearl. I found her in her office. "You were stunning darling!" She said as soon as she saw me. "Thanks I guess." I mumbled and sat down on a chair in the corner. "So, I have some ideas for you next interview already..." She rummaged through a drawer and pulled out a sketch pad. She handed it to me and sat down. As I flipped through the pages, she was twirling her red hair on her finger. She looked nervous. "What's wrong?" I asked while examining a skirt she designed. "Oh, I was just waiting to see if you liked them." She pushed her glasses up on the bridge of her nose. "Ok..." I flipped to the next page and stopped. It was a dress that looked like a Sakura bloom. I pulled out the wooden flower in my pocket. I handed her the papers. "I like this one." I told her. "Ooh, that's a good one. I'll get started right away. You can go back to your room dear, I'll see you tomorrow." She motioned to the door and pulled some fabric from a cabinet. "Bye" I mumbled as I left.
