Where Am I

He sat on the bed, fear instilled in his bones. Where was he? What was happening? all he could remember was doing crude tricks in front of a camera. And now, he had a cape, a mask, and he was sitting in a room that looked messy, but in a homey way. Why was he there?

Marvin stood up hesitantly, and cracked open the door. He was greeted with the sight of a fairly nice, and large house. There seemed to be many doors down the hallway. Marvin crept down the hallway, not sure if he was kidnapped. It didn't seem like he had been, but everything just felt off.

He went closer to the biggest room he could tell was in the house and peered around the corner.

"Marvin!" a strange man exclaimed. Marvin jumped at the exuberant welcome. The man, dressed in all red with a blue mask, came closer and Marvin stepped back. "What's wrong?" the man stepped within a reasonable talking distance and Marvin backed himself into the wall opposite of the one he had been hugging.

"Wh-who are you?" his voice was small and obviously fearful. He cursed himself for sounding so weak, but he couldn't do anything about it now.

At this point, the red man had a face of complete concern and Marvin had no idea why. He must have been the one that brought him here, right?

"I'm Jackie, Jackieboy Man, what did you do to yourself this time?" Jackieboy mumbled the last part under his breath, but Marvin heard it none-the-less.

Marvin flinched, almost noticeably, but Jackie's keen eyes caught it. "Wh-where am I? I-i don't remember anything before yesterday."

Jackie felt an overwhelming urge to get closer to the magician, but he stayed where he was. "What happened yesterday?" Jackie just needed answers. It sounded like Marvin had erased his memory, but he wasn't that stupid, was he?

"U-um I remember doing magic, in front of a camera. I-i woke up in a room," Marvin started breathing faster and started shaking.

Jackie was itching to comfort Marvin, but he was sure if he tried to get closer, it would make him worse. Marvin just didn't know when it was too much. Jackie didn't know much of what to do, but he simply started with, "Take a deep breath, I won't hurt you. You're an ego, a part of an amazing person's personality, you should meet the others."
