Ch. 25 Blindly Kissing

*Zayn's POV*

Eight months passed us by in no time. It has been about a year since the girls joined One Direction. By now, we had half the songs in our new album recorded and polished. Tessa and Niall were still going strong, loving each other better than ever. Harry and Taylor were over. Sophie and Louis have frequently been flirting, and I swear sooner or later he's going to ask her out. Sophie's head is completely better, but I still feel terrible for hitting her.

Liam still frets over Tess all the time, although both she and I have made a huge effort to find a girl for him. Tessa Boo, as I now always call her, turned out to be one of my best friends. She's too crazy and friendly not to be, really.

Sophie and Harry get along decently now, but there's still a scar that won't completely heal between them. They have an occasional row that causes a rift in the 1D household.

Mostly everyone is single now, aside from Nessa. Every day is the same thing: photo shoots, interviews, recording, signings, concerts, hanging out...and so on. All seven members of One Direction were completely happy.

It was now the beginning of June, and with it came Tessa's birthday, which was 10th of June. She was turning twenty. As a pre-celebration, we all decided to play a childish game of Spin the Bottle, truth or dare style. Whoever spins the bottle has to ask whoever the bottle lands on truth or dare. The rules were simple. Niall drank a few beers, so we used one of his bottles.

We've been playing for about two hours now, and it was so entertaining! My turn arrived. I spun the dented glass beer bottle and it landed on Sophie. "Truth or dare?"

"Dare!" she excitedly replied. I thought long and hard for a moment. Recalling a conversation Niall and I had a few months back about trying to get her and Louis together, I immediately knew what she must do.

"I dare you...to put on a blindfold. Then we all will agree on a guy for you to kiss, and you must kiss him. Beware, it might even be Niall," I joked while winking at Tessa, watching her face turn to jealousy. As soon as I mentioned him she wrapped her short arms around him.

"Don't lay a finger on him," she threatened Sophie with no sign of a smile or a joking laugh.

"Whoa, chill out. We aren't picking Niall. It was a joke" I told Tess. Man, that was weird.

Sophie reluctantly took the blindfold (which ended up being my tie from the concert three hours before) and had Louis secure it for her. When it was on her, I wiggled my eyebrows at Louis. The group ran to the kitchen to huddle without Sophie hearing us. "I think we all agree when I say this. Louis, go kiss the poor girl!" He walked right up to her and sat in front of her. The rest of us hustled to get back in the Living room to see this.

"Get ready!" I shouted at Sophie. While she braced herself, Louis leaned in and kissed her passionately. I saw her hands run down his shirt and grip his suspenders. They started snogging and kept it up for such a long time. She ripped the blindfold off, looked at Louis, and snogged him again, this time with even more passion than before. Louis laid on his back, with her on top of him. Everyone in the room dropped their jaw. The two broke apart and Louis mumbled something in her ear. She nodded back, smiling.

*Sophie's POV*

"So we have to tell you guys something...Soph and I have been dating for a while," Louis said aloud. Everyone awed except for Tessa, who was surprisingly upset.

"How long ago did you guys hook up?" Tessa asked irritated.

I gulped and said quietly, "8 months ago." Tessa's face turned to shock. She thought no one would side with me. Now I have somebody she doesn't have wrapped around her finger.
