Chapter Eleven ~ What She Did

~Rewind~
-About three hours earlier-
*Lins POV*

"What about the party?" Pippa asked me.

"I'll try to rush over." I told her. "And Uh, Renée, she knew. How?" I asked my eyebrows furrowing a bit in confusion.

"Well, I... told her." She started. "But I didn't really want to it's just Jaz and Renée thought you were sexually harassing me-"

"They thought what?" I questioned his eyebrows furrowed completely, completely takin aback by the fact they thought I'd do something like that.

"Well you were touching me."

"What?"

"At the house warming party, you kept like touching me, and I don't think you meant to but..." She started but paused for a quick breath. "I got tensed every time and so they thought you were harassing me so I had to tell them so they would calm down."

"So both Jaz and Renée know?" I asked.

"Yeah."

"You still want us to be a secret?" I asked.

"Not for much longer just-"

"It's okay, I'm just asking." I told her in a calm voice and she nodded.

"Alright." She said with a small smile.

"And if I don't see you at the party, you'll come over tonight, right?" I asked going over to her wrapping my arms around her waist.

"You can count on it." She told me pecking my cheek.

"Good." I whispered then pecked her lips. "I'll see you then." I kissed her once more then let go so she could leave to her dressing room.

I quickly changed out of my costume and into my clothes. And as I changed I couldn't help but wonder why my parents went to my place.

I mean neither of them would have any reason to go to my place but they're is no one else that could go to my place.

I sighed picking up my bag making my way to Pippas car. I started my way back home but to my dismay there was a ton of traffic on the way back to my place.

And by a ton of traffic I mean so much traffic it took me about an hour and a half to get back. Half way back back I was basically banging my head off the steering wheel I couldn't stand being in this traffic any more.

But I did finally make it home, I parked Phillipa car and as I made my way to the door I couldn't help but notice my parents car wasn't there. Which only furthered my confusion on what was going on.

So I decided to brush it off and went inside going up to my apartment. I unlocked my door setting my bag down by the door as I closed the door.

"Mom, dad?" I called. "You here?" I asked but got but got no response.

I sighed turning the lights on deciding since no one seemed to be here that I would change before going out to the party. So I opened my door, taking my jacket off before turning on the light.

"Hello Lin." And when I heard her voice I froze, looking over to see her sitting on my bed.

"Vanessa..." I breathed my heart stopping in my chest and I could feel my mouth become dry.

"I need to talk to you..." she said in a quiet voice.

"What could you possibly want Vanessa?" I asked feeling emotions bubble up inside me. "After tearing my heart out and stopping on it what could you possibly want?"
