Part 43- Keerti suffers a memory loss

Naksh- I really missed you Keerti,meine uss din ke baad apni life ka har pal iss moment ka intezar kiya hai , finally I can't believe you are sitting in your senses infront of me.

He was crying cupping her face, she blinked at him in confusion.

"Sorry but kya main aapko jaanti hoon?" she asked withdrawing from him.

He couldn't register her words wiping his tears he asked
"Keerti tum ye kya bol rahi ho main Naksh , tumhara Naksh."

Keerti tried to hard remember him but felt  giddy and held her head.

She shouted in pain and Naksh and others called the doctor.

Doctor comes  and sedates her.

Doctor- She doesn't remember anything of a particular timespan.

Manish- But she remembers us.

Doctor- That's because she has forgot a part of her life many be few days or
few years which caused her severe trauma or some drastic change.
It is called PTSD post traumatic stress disorder. She has some intial memories but forgotton past few years of her life.

Naksh- How can she forget me? Iam her husband, she loved me more than herself.

Doctor- That's very uncertain Mr.Singhania, could be that you were in her life after some traumatic incident, with the trauma her memories with you have also been erased.

Naksh got shattered completely, this was even  worse, he had her but she saw him as a stranger.

Naksh- So we  cannot try to remind her,some therapy?

Doctor- We can Naksh but it's too early she was in coma for years, we cannot do things on impulse. I suggest don't tell her anything until she is ready to bear it , its not good for her health. Leave her with people she is comfortable with and then slowly as she geta better we can try therapy for sure.

Naksh glided down defeated by his words.

Naira goes and holds him and says "Bhai sambhaliya aapne aap ko".

Naksh- Mere saath hi aisa kyun...I love her Naira and she doesn't even recognize me, it pricks me when she would look at me like I'm a stranger.

Naira- Bhai she doesn't remember me as well,as doctor said she doesn't remember last few years before the accident, may be the trauma doctor was referring is of her life with Aditya may be after that she has no memory of anyone.

Naksh- But Naira usse mein yaad hi nahi aise kaise hosakta hai,ab bata mein kya karu?

Naira- Bhai hum khosish karenge unhe yaad dila ne ki.

Naksh-Naira tune suna nahi doctor ne kya kaha its dangerous for her.

Manish- Naksh beta hum samaj sakte hai tumpe kya beet raha hoga par thode din ke keliye jab tak usse khudh sab yaad nahi ajata hum usse Goenka massion mey rakhenge humare saath.

Naksh nodded knowing there was no other option.

Naira- Bhai please stay strong.

Naksh- I will Naira ,vo mere saath nahi hai toh kya hua , vo  teekh hain abhi keliye ye kaafi hain mereliye.

Naira hugged him crying.

Naksh- It's ok Naira I will be fine, papa, karthik I  already completed her discharge formalities, please take her with you, I will send you her medications and rest of the diet doctor advised. Please take care of her.

Manish- Naksh beta you take care of yourself, Keerti has us ,don't worry this too shall pass.

Naksh nodded meekly and left from there unwillingly.
