Me: You there outside... are you invited?

I asked, the door shattered open as Ruby, Yang and Blake all leapt in. Ruby's scythe rifle the cause of the rupture. I backed away with my hands in the air, my watch currently visible as it had it's knob out as if it was about to be activated, truth be told it is not even hooked up to anything. A bluff could be the cheapest and most efficient way out of this illiterate mess before the Atlesian soldiers arrive.

Me: Well well well if it isn't my lifelong friends. Come and have a drink, if you please.

I said, holding a small chalice in my hand.

Weiss: Careful, he somehow knew you nonces were here... Yang why didn't you restrain Ruby?

Weiss asked, Yang raised both her arms... wait what?! Both her arms? I thought Lilith sliced off her pleasure arm... Oh, a robotic one, I see... Seems like anyone who loses a limb always has a robotic replacement for it... why couldn't she just retire or something from the whole huntress business? Could've made this thing real easier.

Yang: Oh I'm sorry, how was I supposed to know he was going to place a cookie through that thing?

Me: Tick tock my ride's almost here girls, why don't you stay awhile and have a chat with me.

Ruby: We're taking you in...

She said, I turned to a few people trying to exit and shouted at them.

Me: Try something funny and I'll activate the poison that rests in your systems right now!

I said, turning my wrist to show my watch primed... Though it was primed for nothing, all they had in their system was butterflies, from the simple bluff I induced into them, they wouldn't know to trust me or not... Plus their lives... and money are simply too important to throw away like that, just because they contradicted me.

Blake: Y/N... You poisoned them!?

Me: A little playing card I had to place in due to your arrival a possible outcome in the plan. I laced the water supply with poison, which is harmless when ingested, but when I activate this watch, the poison will eat away at the stomach and insides of anyone unlucky enough to drink it. You don't know who's ingested it, and you don't know who hasn't.

Blake: We're still not letting you go... You poison all these innoc-... people. Yet you haven't got us...

Blake rephrased at 'innocent' knowing that the Schnees were among my hostages.

Weiss: Guys, we don't know if I haven't ingested it... I could be affected.

Lilith: Genius plan Y/N... I have to say, well done.

She complimented, I chuckled. Team RWBY dared not to let their sights off me, I mocked them with my very stance. Even though it was all a little white lie of mine, it was simply... funny watching them sweat and stress out due to nothing but phantom threats.

Y/N: Now that you all have knowledge of this little predicament of mine, it might be detestable for girls like you to have this much blood on your hands, and be the cost of the loss of most of Atlas' First Class Citizens.

Yang: You little bright bastard...

Y/N: So then Team RWBY, what'll it be? The cost of a few dozen lives for a little petty criminal? Or you become the saviours of Atlas for rescuing all of their First Class-ers from a little liquid in their drinks?

They paused, not able to make out what's happening nor would they dare to discuss their plan in my presence for fear of me coming up with a counter-plan. They could only stand there like a statue and make sure did not escape the room.

Me: Yeah, it really does suck being put in such a stressful situation does it?

Ruby: Stop literally reading our minds!

Ruby said, her face turned red in embarrassment as she swiped at nothing above her head while I looked at my watch again.

Then it was when I heard a few ships landing from outside, the windows let me make out the ships to be Atlesian... definitely military. The soldiers exiting the ships did not look happy.

Me: Ah, right on cue.

The girls also looked out the window, the Atlesian ships gave them hope... Hope? In my presence? Not at all...

Yang: Ain't that what we're supposed to be saying? Since. I dunno, the Atlesians aren't exactly one of your biggest friends right now.

Me: They aren't exactly friends of the Schnees either... I made sure of that...

The last part earned me a grab on the shoulder from Weiss, Lilith shoved her off but I kept my hands up as Weiss glared at me with avid concern.

Weiss: W-what did you do!?

She asked.

Me: Let's just say with the Atlesian Military's quote on quote "knowledge" of the Schnees willing to kill anyone that doesn't provide for them a cheaper workforce and more income and taxes... *cough* Ironwood *cough*. And a certain someone decided to sway their minds a bit with a little video he broadcasted using the Atlesian Military Broadcasting System.

Blake: Shit...

Blake whispered, Ruby too had a worried look on her face.

Weiss: What do we do? The military will try and kill all of us...

Me: There's nothing you can do... Well a few options though, would you like for me to politely provide them for you?

I asked with a smug look on my face, my sly grin stretched from ear to ear, knowing that I've got them at a crossroad.

Yang: Fuck you.

Ruby: Y/N's life is worth nothing, we have to save these people...

Ruby suggested.

Weiss: Are you kidding me? This boy's a literal threat to Atlas' no, Remnant's security. I'm not letting him get away again...

Weiss gave in her two cents.

Blake: Maybe if we could we should try and convince the Atlesians of Y/N's propaganda video. Trust me I know how to break things down.

Blake optioned.

Yang: Nah, those guys are literally Y/N'a goons now, two of us will hold Y/N here, and the other half of the team'll blast those guys to kingdom come.

Ruby: Yang! They're still people, as well as the partygoers. Evacuating them might be the best option, and have less dead people.

They continued squabbling with each other, all giving their view on the situation and their available options, all the while I stood by whistling the Jeopardy theme with Lilith by my side checking her makeup mirror. Any second, they will have to shift their focus from me to the Atlesians, and once they do, I'll make my escape...

Me: Decisions...decisions...just like a Chess game. Perhaps with your skills you could try and find a way to end the deadlock...But nonetheless I have you all in check, all you four can do is try and elaborately escape my grip, while I too make mine...Tick tock, your time's running out Team RWBY, make your choice or else everyone in this room might just as well be dead.

Blake's POV

This isn't good, Y/N's outwitted us! What do we do?...I-I can't think of much. Not like this! Not under this much pressure...

That boy's a silver snake... yet he's a genius... How do we even fight against an opponent like this? How can we defeat him?... Perhaps Y/N's right, maybe huntsmen don't have that much morals, perhaps we aren't meant to be humanity or Faunus' true heroes... We're only Chess Pieces in a large game... and Y/N's one of the players.
