Colorless (Possible continuation?)

It was said that the world of color was a strange one. Those bright hues would touch your eyes with such vibrancy that you couldn't help but stare. The skies were a light blue with which complements the dark green of the grass. The water was crystal clear and the sun glowed a glorious yellow that would kiss the multi-colored flowers that graced the fields. It was back in those days that color was common amongst most people. They would walk around and groan at the sun shining and complain about the color patterns that would match the day. The color was taken for granted, and because of that, it slowly went away. People didn't take much mind to it at first. It started with the dimming of the grass, which wasn't completely uncommon to be multiple colors at one time. The stars started to black out at night, and then the shadows began to grow bigger in the day. Small things began to grow grey, and then it led to bigger things. Cars that were normally different colors are now simply dull to the eyes. Flowers lost their vibrancy, and the sun began to slowly grow dimmer and dimmer until it itself was nothing but an ordinary circle in the sky. Everyone began to change after that day. Panic rose through the city first but, after a while, the people began to grow accustomed to the bland world around them. The people slowly began to change as well. Without the color, there was no more happiness. Frowns covered every face and the depressing atmosphere settled quickly into homes. Families began to realize that this is their new life, and it was sad. So what do people do when they're sad? Well, tears are spilled, angry and harsh words are thrown from room to room, families broke apart and went their separate ways. Playgrounds were empty, schools were boring, and everyone didn't know what to do. It got to the point where riots would break out, and mobs arose. Drugs and alcohol were the things that everyone turned to. Drug-induced rages would make men and women into raged killers and blood was spilled on a daily basis. Yes, it got that bad. The government then came out with the solution that giving us a liquid in a syringe would help us with our problem. The bland colorless liquid would enter our systems, contents unknown (color helped differentiate the difference between cyanide and medicine), and our bodies became mindless and numb to the point where the grey seemed inviting. We became zombies to our own selfishness and there seems like there is no plan to stop this inhumanity. We are silent, we are bland, and we are colorless.

Hey all!

Sorry for such a late reply to everything XD. I've been busy with so much lately that Wattpad got pushed back. Anywho, I wrote this when I was bored during a free period. It's not really a one-shot but it's something right? Do you like it? I don't know if I should continue it so tell me what you think!

Thanks!
