I walked up to the entrance, Owen was still there leaning against the school's door. I walked over and looked at him.
"H-hi..." I said quietly.
"Mm..." He said in response, his eyes were closed.
I looked at him more closely, he had a black eye.
"What happened?" I asked.
His eyes opened, they seemed to glow from the sunrise, "Got in a fight with the old man."
His voice was raspy again.
"Oh...I'm sorry."
"Eh, you didn't cause -"
"I also meant for yesterday as well..." I interrupted.
He looked at me and sigh, "You had every right to be upset...And I'm sorry."
I was dumbstruck, was he actually apologizing to me?
"I forgive you if you forgive me...I should have tried more..." I said looking down.
"Nah, you wouldn't have been able to, I was at my breaking point." He said, standing up straight and going inside.
I followed him in, the school wasn't supposed to be open for another hour or so.
"If you're gonna follow, be my lookout." He said quietly, I was almost unable to hear him.
"Alright, I guess..." I said.

After Owen took his shower we went to hang out in the library. He asked me when I notice I became attracted to guys.
"Well, My mom took me to watch this chick flick movie. It was terrible but it had a gay couple in it and I wonder what it would be like to date someone of the same gender. "
"Bullshit you watched gay porn didn't you?" Owen asked with a smirk.
I felt flustered, "N-no! I would n-never!"
He laughed, "You totally did! Ha!"
"Oh yeah, then how did you figure it out?!"
There was a slight pause.
"When I had my first girlfriend...and when she kissed me I felt nothing, when we did it I couldn't get hard."
"But that could have meant you didn't-"
"Then one night I went to this party, got hella drunk, and slept with a dude."
I looked at him and his face was showing seriousness in his story.
"Wait really?"
"Yep, good thing the other dude doesn't remember..." He looked at me.
I felt flustered and looked away, "T-that's good then..."
He smiled and chuckled, "You know you're cute when you blush."
"I'm not blushing!" I said, covering my face.
He began laughing and I smiled, it was the first time I saw him smiling. When it got close to school opening, he stood up.
"I gotta get going, don't want people getting ideas..."
"Like what? You're gay?"
He laughed softly, "That and that We're friends I guess."
He winked at me and waved me goodbye, walking out the door and down the hall.
