I finished this piece awhile ago, wanting to practice skin shading and better hair techniques.
There is a story behind it and I've tried hastily typing it up twice, but need more time and thought to do it justice.
Just know she had a rough rough beginning as a child. The necklace is a gift from her now deceased Grandma, who had raised her from the age of ten.

I've been so busy the past few weeks, but am finally able to get back to stories and will hopefully get caught up soon.
I have some artwork done for The Fables of Faron's second chapter, however I'm thinking if I want to ever finish the rewrite of Brittle, the art on that just won't happen. Scenes are so much more time consuming than a stand alone piece.
