I walked down the street a hood over my head searching for my target. Tatsumi was next to me a hood over his head as well.

"Where is this guy?" He asked looking over curiously.

I thought for a moment before realizing something.

He is a murder.. he walks around the street killing people at night..

"He's on the street somewhere.. must be" I said walking forwards on the dimly lit street. A few street lights were broken.

I seen a man walking down the street. He was tall.. very tall. He had a sword in his hand walking down the street right towards us..

"It's.. a little late for two little children to be out.. on the streets.."

"It's quite dangerous you know~ Id hate for anything to happen to this.. Lovely Couple~" he said a dark look clouding his eyes.

Tatsumi stared at the man. I could feel the fear coming from tatsumi by simply glancing at him.

I pulled out my sword and so did Tatsumi.

It shined in the moonlight.

"Ah~ A young lady like you shouldn't have such weapons" he said a weird smile appearing on his face.

I was creeped out just by the look of this guy.

A lady and a child were walking by trying to not be noticed but sadly his smile widened.

He turned to face the frightened mother and child.

He raised his sword in the air before bringing it down slicing into her shoulder and down to her side.

"No!" Tatsumi yelled reaching for the little girl. As the man smiled blood splashing everywhere.

He cut into her tiny body. A tiny cry could be heard from the child.

Tatsumi's eyes widened as he reached forwards. The man lunged forwards attacking tatsumi.

Tatsumi jumped up only to be shoved back into a wall. I jumped into the air going to slice into his back.

I was only a few inches away from cutting but he turned around blocking the attack with his sword. I jumped backwards scrapping the ground.

My hair covered my eyes as I stared down at the ground.

Tatsumi groaned in pain as the man walked towards me.

"Pathetic Girl.. Your Weak.." he said raising his sword up above his head. He brought it down just above me.

I put my sword up blocking the attack. I kicked his legs so he fell. I jumped away for a moment pushing my hair out of my eyes before charging towards him.

I jumped to the side cutting into his side.

His eyes turned a dark purple.

He froze as he spit up black blood.

He hit the ground dying almost immediately. I walked over seeing poor tatsumi knocked out.

I picked him up even though he was a little heavy I tried getting him to our base.

TIME-SKIP!

I had finally made it back to the base. Carrying him inside everyone stood up in surprise.

"Tatsumi!" Akame said running over. She looked down at the injured boy.

They took tatsumi upstairs. I sat down on the floor bandaging up my wrist. It was cut and really bloody. It dropped onto our floor.

I sighed continuing to wrap up my wrist.

After I finished that I decided to go back to my room.

I sat on my bed looking at the floor. This isn't great.. our group.. they are all dying and for what?

What aren't making any progress... people are still dying and.. I can't..

Well I better sleep when have more things to do in the morning..

I closed my eyes slowly beginning to fall asleep.
