Esdeath was terrified now that she seen our demon forms.
"I'm done playing games Esdeath." Akame said.
"I'll see you in hell Esdeath.." I said holding my katana in front of me.
"You two are insane poisoning yourselves to become stronger..." she said slowly but you could see the shock on her face. In her blue eyes.,.
I looked down closing my eyes taking a deep breath before lunging at her. I sliced at her just barely missing her. She kicked me backwards as I almost fell but I snapped my back as I brought myself back up going to stab her with the katana. She created a wall in front of her stomach blocking my attack. We stared into each other's eyes as she was memorized by the enchanting symbols that circled around in my eyes. Akame took this chance to attack her. Akame sliced at her back cutting her clothes but not her skin. Esdeath jumped and turned around raising her sword slicing Akames stomach.
Akame gasped as she fell backwards holding her stomach.
I kicked Esdeath side throwing her across the ground. She smacked her head against the ground laying there for a moment. I wasn't worried about killing her right now all I cared about was making sure Akame was okay.
"Akame! Are you okay!?" I asked looking at her cut.
"Yeah it's fine I'll live but that's not what we are here for! We must focus on this mission and kill her..." she said as she stood up weakly.
Esdeath stood back up and ran at Akame. Akame was using her sword to help her stand as Esdeath was rushing Akame trying to take down the injured one first. I jumped in front of Akame blocking her attack. Esdeath shoved me to the side causing me to fall. She put a cage around me and charged at Her. Akame looked up her red eyes widening as Esdeath sliced her sword stabbing Akame just below her heart.
"AKAME!" I screamed as my eyes began to water. The cage around me slowly dissolved. I was on my knees as tears streamed down my face. I'm nothing without Akame... I'm weak... I couldn't even protect one person!
MY WHOLE TEAM! What are we fighting for! Mine.. sheele... lubbock.. bulat... tatsumi.. so many people... I WONT GIVE UP UNTIL SHES DEAD...
I stood up and held my katana in front of me as she smirked.
"I'll end you! I'll even kill your precious little boss...." she said lunging at me. I held my ground not moving as she kept running towards me. I brought my katana over my shoulder and brought it forwards slicing her head off before she could dodge my attack.
Her head fell onto the ground with a loud thud. Her body fell onto its knees and blood splattered everywhere.
As my symbols began to fade my eyes slowly turned (E/C) again.
I seen akame bleeding on the ground across the field. Tears began streaming down my face as I dropped my katana and began running towards her I was breathing heavily and the more I cried the worse I felt. I reached her body as her beautiful red eyes were glossy. Tears began falling down her face as she stared up at me.
"Akame... it's over... we c-can go home..." I cried falling in my knees next to her body.
"I LOVE YOU" she cried loudly as I started shaking. No.. oh god..
