'Purple Diamond pov.'
"So the forced fusions caused Garnet to be forced out of sync? Shouldn't she have just poofed?" I ask a Tourmaline as I watch Garnet be inspected by scientists."I don't have any clue why she reacted this way my Diamond, but I am happy that we could fix her for you." The Tourmaline says with a nod.
"Thank you once again. Garnet, it's time to go. I've kept you from the others for long enough. Steven missed you very much and Pearl certainly did as well." I tell her with a teasing look. She stands and makes her way over to me. After Ruby and Sapphire regenerated and fused Garnet showed great improvement from her previous behavior.
"I'm glad to be seeing them again." Garnet hums quietly. I nod and we reach the warp pad.
"I haven't seen Steven in a while either so I'm happy to be...." I trail off in confusion as we come face to face with Pearl, Amethyst, and Connie.
"You have to save him! They took him!" Connie shouts as she grabs hold of my skirt.
"Connie, what's wrong?" I gasp as I kneel before her.
"They took him..." Pearl mumbles as she stares at the ground with a haunted look.
"What are you- Steven. Where's Steven?" Garnet asks as she wraps her arms around Pearl.
"Some-some freaking Aquamarine took him! And a-a Topaz fusion, and we tried fusing with Turquoise and stopping them but they poofed her and Steven's going to Homeworld!" Amethyst screams as she pulls on her hair. Connie produces Turquoise's gem from her pocket and I take it numbly.
"They took...Steven." I mumble.
"He traded himself for his friends. He-he told them he was Rose Quartz. That he shattered Pink." Pearl whispers as tears flow down her face.
"Garnet. Contact Jade. Have her alert the armada that we're attacking Homeworld." I state calmly as I stand up.
"PD-" Amethyst starts.
"No. I've sat quietly for too long. Taking my little Steven is the last straw. We will go to Homeworld and we will give them thirty minutes to return him before we attack and retrieve him." I mumble calmly as I place a hand on Connie's shoulder.
"How would you like to sit in the captain's chair Connie?"
*After a short warp trip*
"Is the planet fully surrounded?" I ask from my spot overlooking the cockpit.
"Yes my Diamond. Your Emerald and the Nephrites have successfully spread their ships to entrap Homeworld." Coral replies from her console.
"You sure about this man?" Citrine asks from her chair.
"Absolutely. How are you feeling Connie?" I ask as I look down at the young human.
"I'm fine. The star charts are keeping me busy." She mumbles from the captain's chair. I gave her a holopic of the star charts for this quadrant and she's been fiddling with that.
"My Diamond." Amber says as her and Ringwoodite enter the bridge.
"Amber. I'm sorry I had to interrupt your Honeymoon for this." I sigh as I clasp her hand. She nods and pats my shoulder.
"It's nothing. As long as we get him back." She says as we look out into space.
"That's an interesting outfit." Ringwoodite muses as she studies me. I've traded my gown for a suit of armor with a cape.
"Ironically I thought of Yellow while forming this. Probably should have covered my gem." I hum as I raise a hand to my chest.
"The other diamonds never keep their gems covered. They would think it's a sign of weakness." My Pearl mumbles from her spot kneeling beside Connie. I feel bad forgetting she was there.
