"Patrick," I say as my eyes flood with tears, "Patrick we were never going to work." He jerks his neck at me.
"Is that your excuse?! 'We weren't going to work'?" He come over and roughly kissed me. I reluctantly pulled away and ran outside screaming, "Stop!" He ran after me and grabbed my wrist and pulled me into him.
"Y/N! I love you! I love you so much it hurts! You... you can't leave me." He fell to his knees, still looking at me. "I cannot live without you. I won't live without you." As he said that last sentence, I saw his eyes change. Something that started out as pleasing, quickly turned threatening. I snatched my hand away from his grasp.
"Look at you! This isn't how I want to live,Pat! This is toxic! You haven't been taking your medicine, you haven't been coming to class. You aren't the guy I fell in love with." His eyes softened. Then darkened. All in one swift motion,he stood up and pulled my hair back with one hand, and cupped my head in his free one.
"You will always be my girl,Y/N. Now I know you slip up sometimes, like now,but whatd ya say we go back inside. My folks'll be home in a few hours," he released my hand and slid it down to my bottom, "we still have time for some fun." He leaned in to kiss me,and that's when I kicked him in the crotch.
"We're over,Patrick. Don't talk to me," I say backing up. He was leaned over towards the ground. Head down, eyes creepily looking up at me ," don't come by my house. We're done." I run to my bike leaning against his mailbox, and pedal home as fast as I can.
