My lungs are giving out,

As I take another breath,

To choke out my final lies,

And my vision fades to red,

My heart is beating slowly,

While my stomach's sinking fast,

I tried to run away,

But these steps will be my last,

I swear to you each promise,

In which I intend to keep,

I'm so sorry for my questions,

I didn't mean to speak,

Should have just sat quietly,

Watch it all from afar,

And I assure it won't mean much,

When silently I fall
