Chapter 2:
Leon placed a hand on the exterior of the TARDIS, calm rushed over him, closely followed by happiness.
“Just one more piece to go” muttered Leon
Leaving the TARDIS he turned to look at his four sons, who were then accompanied by his two other sons who stayed behind.
“So what happened?” He asked Lucas
The eldest of his sons, Lucas, stepped forward, glancing at Blaze quickly then back again.
“We got the TARDIS, but the Doctor returned sooner than expected. Blaze had another of his accidents again... nearly killed them” Lucas explained quietly
Leon turned on his youngest son, even though he was only 13, Leon could not help himself but scold Blaze for his seemingly incurable anger.
“Don’t you realize that you could have ruined the chance for the new embryo to live?” hissed Leon, he glowered at his son, Blaze shrank away, squirming under his glare.
“I’m sorry... but the woman was asking too many questions...Angered me... she shouldn’t do that she's a female....females are weak!” He screamed
Leon jumped from his chair and came face to face with Blaze, glowering into his eyes.
“The most powerful element, Time, is going to be female, are you saying your unborn sister is weak?” growled Leon
Blaze was lost for words, his cheeks burned red, Leon saw in the corner of his youngest son’s eyes, he could see sparkling tears, eventually spilling over the edge and running down his cheeks. Softening his heart, Leon patted Blaze’s head affectionately.
“It’s ok Blaze, just don't make this mistake again...go and cool off with Arlen, his water element will hopefully cool you down” instructed Leon
Obediently, Blaze turned around and left the immaculate white lab with Arlen following him closely, his hand pressed to Blaze’s back to let the calm energy flow through to him. Leon turned around to look at his new prize, the TARDIS, it’s blue exterior glowed slightly and ancient thrumming engines could be heard from within. He sat down on his leather office chair and gazed at his remaining four sons who stared at him intently, ready for the next set of orders from their father.
“Be alert, he will come and when he does, capture him and bring him to me... your sister will live today” he whispered to them
They all nodded and walked down the lab out through the glass doors. Amun on the other hand, went to the large window which faced the city, and slid it open and shut behind him. He stood on the bars outside the window, arms spread wide like wings, he launched himself off the railings and into the midday air, flying agilely.
Leon leaned back in his chair, arms behind his head, softly stroking his bald head, thinking of names that he could name his daughter. But then doubts filled his mind, wondering whether she will actually be his daughter, because she will be drafted and grown with the Doctors blood running through her veins, not his blood like his other six sons. Will she be one of us, or the Doctors daughter? He banished the thought with a wave of his hand, sighing deeply. If she was going to be anyone's daughter, she will have to be Leon's, besides he will be the one raising her, teaching her, whispering in her ear, placing thoughts and ideas into that soft and malleable mind of hers.
"I will make it my mission to make you the opposite of that Doctor, you shall be nothing like him.." He then licked his lips and started to type rapidly on one of his computers, while the tank filled with a little life in the green liquid depths, bubbled away happily, unaware of what was going to happen in her future.
