Unexpected Expectations

2. "Would you like to join us?"

Jessica and I had never been this quiet before and it felt unnatural and quite fake.

So to break the silence, I removed my earphones and looked at Jess, who was finishing my juice. (which, by the way, I got free with my sandwich)

She turned to look back at me and she was like,

Jess-"what?"
Me-"gurl, that's MY drink.".
Jess-"not anymore, kekke"

And we start quarreling like immature cats. (I have no idea what I've written, kindly ignore it:)

I pull her hair (like we always do at home) and she pinched my arm.

Then.
Right then.

I turned towards the two mysterious but unbelievably beautiful men, who were staring at us with wide bewildered eyes. They were clearly amused and looked at each other while they tried to control their laughter.

I noticed the cutie in the denim jacket giggling and hid himself under his bag.

The other guy (fully in black) noticed him giggling too and burst out laughing and hid himself under a familiar bag.

I had seen that bag somewhere.

OMG.OMG.OMG.

It was a Gucci bag! How rich can he be to buy one of those?!?!

They kept laughing!
They wouldn't stop!

I felt SO EMBARRASSED.

They denim jacket guy finally controlled his giggling and said, "umm...hahha sorry. It was just cute!"

His friend replied, "ahah, yeah!"

I looked at Jess as soon as he said we were cute! She wore a dumb smile on her face as she stared at the fully covered black guy who was...

He was going to sneeze!

We all noticed his "ahh...CHOoo0OoO!!"

We laughed as he straightened his mask which had partially come off.
He was too cute<3

But I couldn't help noticing that he looked so familiar.

Out of nowhere, Denim cutie asked me my name.

SHIT.

I froze like a rock.
But I still answered, "I'm...uh.. Sarah and she's Jess:)"

His smile widened as he looked at me and replied, "ahh... You have a nice name."

And for the millionth time I blushed again.

Our moment was broken by an announcement which conveyed the message that we would be reaching early.

(I felt a bit disappointed, since we would be parting with these guys)

(What is wrong with me! I've been waiting for more than 3 years for this trip!)

(How could I feel disappointed when we were about reach early?!?!!)

The evening sky slowly turned a dark shade of blue and the stars were visible.

There was another announcement that we would reach in another 15 min.

I kept replaying what had happened today with these men whose names I didn't know.
I felt if they know our names we should know their names too;)

They begin preparing their bags and we did the same.

I bent down to tie my shoelace and I felt denim guy's hand touch mine.

He felt it too and his eyes went wide open.

-"oh! I'm sorry, Sarah"
-"it's okay;)"

I had gained enough confidence by then and I asked him his name.

-"I'm Jimin:)"

Ooh I liked that name (lmao obviously)

I replied, "oooh that's cute."

He BLUSHED.

WOAH.

We all got departed and said bye.
It broke our hearts.
Yes, even Jess adored them.

We waited for a taxi since the guy we booked before bailed on us.

I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn around ready to punch Jess. (How dare she try and do this again?!)

My fist is ready to punch her but my body froze as I saw Jimin standing in front of me.

Him: "woah. I'm sorry to scare you. (Giggles) I was just wondering..."

Me: "oh no, I'm sorry lol I thought you were Jess<3 (giggles also) wondering what?"

Him: " ...if you would like to join us?"
