"Do not depend on what you only see, Jiminie. Some things  are not what they seem to be."

"Why do problems love to be with me?"

Full of negative thoughts, Jennie cried on to Jimin's shoulder.

Jimin isn't sure what to do. To caress her hair and cease her from crying?

He's doubting because he knows how sensitive Jennie is.

Jimin's hand was shaking as it reached out for her head.

"Am I that sinful to be with them?" Jennie sobbed and Jimin almost cried as well, hearing how sad her voice is.

Jimin cleared his throat, "Can you at least ... share me what's going on?"

He was so nervous about asking that question. Jennie is not the type of person to tell things too personally. But, he just wanted to help her, nothing else.

"It all started when I was 13 years old."

Jimin was surprised to hear that from her. Jennie's legit telling everything to him this time. He felt so honored and at the same time, obliged?

"We were a respected family. One day, our house was intruded by an unknown bunch of people in black, it felt like a blitzkrieg for us, worse than it, and I didn't know what to do, but mom took me and my sister in our room. She told my sister, who was 15 years old that time, to place me somewhere hidden as well as herself. My father himself tried to fight the intruders. My mother tried to help daddy but she was just pushed away that made her hit her back on the wall. Of course, I went out my hiding place and walked up to mommy. She was surprised to see me, the intruders saw me. My sister was also shocked by what I've done. I just wanted to help mommy. And that's how the intruders targeted me. They tried to take me away from mommy's grip but dad punched the person. As daddy punched him, the other intruder stabbed him in his back. "

Jimin stiffened, he's not sure if he can take her story anymore. But for her to feel more comfortable than keeping it all inside her, he stayed listening.

"I...I witnessed it all. My sister tried to look away as she was clandestinely contacting the police. Mommy tried to cover my eyes but another person pulled her away from me by her hair. Daddy managed to push everyone who's handling mommy. I saw him saving my mother while he has that knife still stabbed on his back. My mother noticed it and cried. She held the knife and tried to slowly pull it away, but another intruder held her hand. While holding her hand, the intruder made mommy's hand bury the stab even deeper. Mommy's body was visibly shaking as daddy slowly lies down, vomiting his own pure blood. My knees felt weak and crawled towards daddy. And then someone dragged my feet, but my sister bit the dragger's wrist. That's all I could remember, I don't wanna remember anything further than that." Jennie's voice was so weak, he's not used to it.

"How about the police?" Jimin asked.

"They all came late, daddy was already dead. Mommy's heart ached, and that's how her heart disease started. After that traumatizing scene, she started to have repeating heart attacks. There's always a time that she can't breathe. Our family drowned in financial problems. Daddy's relatives then treated us like an outcast. That's when we started to depend on mommy's relatives. They were our source of money, of food, of anything we might need. Meanwhile, mommy tried to fight with her sickness for almost 7 years. Yes, she suffered that much that we almost thought she would survive it. My sister decided to go overseas to earn money that made me alone with mommy here. But now, I'm all alone by myself. Mommy left me, she left us." Jennie sobbed while wiping her eyes repeatedly since her tears never stopped.
