••
"And I'm just waiting for your mutual feeling—wait, Jennie are you blushing?"
••Jennie tucked some strands of her hair behind her ears as she walks towards her locker. As she opens it, a note fell out from it.
She sighed before picking it up knowing well what's the paper about and to who it came from.
"Oh, a note again huh?" Suddenly, Lalice popped up beside her.
"Yeah, from him again." Jennie casually answered her and cringed after reading what was on the paper.
Lalice stepped nearer to take the paper, "You're so gorgeous with your hair tied up." she read what Jimin wrote on the white paper and bursts out laughing at Jennie afterwards.
"How could you laugh on something so cringe-worthy?" Jennie stared at Lalice with a weirded look.
"That makes it funnier!" Lalice still laughed. "So that's why we have this unusual ponytail, huh?" she teased Jennie who indeed has her hair in a ponytail.
"Of course not!" Jennie aggressively disagreed that made Lalice laugh harder. "Aish," Jennie muttered annoyedly as she sees something inside her locker.
"Oooh, white rose again." Lalice teased. "Jimin said he'll make you say 'yes' after the 16th rose. That is what?"
"This is the 16th." Jennie shrugged her shoulders.
"Ooooh, gotta anticipate what to happen next." Lalice winked at her.
"Stop it, I'm gonna make sure you wouldn't love it."
"Of course I will!" Lalice bumped her shoulders onto Jennie's.
"Do you really think I did like him?"Jennie asked.
Lalice cocked her head to the side while they stared at each other, "Go on, tell me you did not, Jennie." she smirked.
Jennie gulped involuntarily as she came to be the first one to look away and Lalice smiled in victory. Jennie almost threw the rose and paper in her locker and walked through the exit with Lalice, forgetting about getting the book in annoyance.
"Jennie?"
Just right after they stepped outside the school, Jimin approached the two. Lalice instinctively bid her goodbye to them both and ran away after giving Jennie that look.
"Tss," Jennie muttered as she watched Lalice smoothly escaping. She turned to Jimin, "What?" She tried to sound bored.
"It's the 16th rose, Jennie-yah." Jimin moved his eyebrows up and down.
"And so?" Jennie acted innocent to mock him.
"Do you have an idea why it has to be 16 roses?" Jimin asked.
"I don't because I don't wanna have any. Because I don't care." Jennie rolled her eyes.
"Because 16th is your birthday, my girl." Jimin still continued in spite of the savagery Jennie gave him.
"What now?"
"I know I've said this many times more than you thought. I like you." Jimin said, eyes full of sincerity. "And I'm just waiting for your mutual feeling—wait, Jennie are you blushing?"
