"You betrayed our beautiful Lalice! You were best friends! You're such a snake!"
••

Jimin wasn't sure where Jennie went but hearing her sobs inside a room made him tell she's there.

"Jennie?" Jennie didn't lock the door so he was able to go in. "Are you alright?"

Jennie kept on sniffing and sniffing while wiping her unstoppable tears with her bare hands.

Jimin carefully sat beside Jennie on the mattress. "Here," Jimin handed her a black handkerchief.

"Th-thank you." Jennie said between her sobs as she accepted the handkerchief, instantly using it to wipe her tears out.

"Why did you leave her?" Jimin asked.

"It's just," Jennie sniffed, "I'm still not ready, Jimin. I'm still scared."

"Scared of what? Scared of being together with her again?"

"No, of course." Jennie abruptly answered. "I'm scared to hear her side."

"You shouldn't be. It's really hard to gain the urge to tell something like this, better not waste it." Jimin told her. "Though, I understand you."

"It did hurts so much. I cannot describe how painful it was when the only one I trust suddenly betrays me. Suddenly outcasts me. I tried to move on, but I didn't know it'll be hard to forget her." Jennie covered her face as she cried harder again. Jimin felt the instinct to hug her, and so he did.

Jennie feels so comfortable whenever she cries on Jimin's shoulder. For her, Jimin knows well how to comfort her. He knows well what Jennie needs. And it's someone by her side.

Meanwhile, Jimin never wants to cry in front of Jennie. Totally opposite on how showy Jennie is for Jimin. He suddenly felt guilty.

"Do you still call Lalice as your friend?" Jimin asked her.

"Of course." She answered.

"Do you miss her?"

"Absolutely."

"Then go, listen to her. And you'll be together again." Jimin smiled at Jennie.

Jennie stared at him, nervousness drawn on her face, "Will this work out?"

"Yes nor no," Jimin tucked Jennie's hair behind her ears, "You shouldn't give up on your friendship. Okay?"

Jennie gulped before heaving a shaky sigh.

"She doesn't want to listen to me." Lalice cried on Taehyung's chest while the boy brushes her hair repeatedly.

"No, Lalice. She's not just ready. At least give her some time for herself. She will listen to you, soon." Taehyung comforted.

"What if not? What if I will never get to talk to her again?" Lalice worried.

"Do not think like that. Maybe Jennie was extremely hurt of what happened. She needs some time, Lalice."

"I'm scared, Taehyung. I'm so scared." She buried her head on his chest and Taehyung gladly allows.

"Do not worry too much. I think Jennie's just isn't ready, but I'm sure she already had forgiven you." Taehyung smiled at Lalice who looked up at him. He pinched her cheeks.
