you stare at the brown, square box sitting across from you. You pick it up a few times, seeing how much itd weigh. You shook it, wanting so desperately to know what was inside. Before you could even think about opening it, James had appeared right infront of you.

"Whatcha doin?" he asked, planting his feet infront of the mystery box. He looked down at you as you tried to remember what he had said to you. it was something like "dont, whatever you do, open this box." how could he say something like that and not expect you to take a peak?

"I just wanna know whats in the box, James. So sue me."

"Open it and find out," he shrugs.

"Really? Youre actually gonna let me physically open this box right here and see whats inside?"

"Yup, I do believe thats what I said," he smiled, moving out of the way.

You ripped open the box, immediately spotting two thin pieces of paper along with a crossiant. You were confused. And honestly, you thought that was the dumbest thing in the world. Your excitement decreased by the second.

"Uh, babe, what exactly is this?" you say, ruffling the papers and maybe sneaking a bite of the crossiant.

"See, if you actually read the paper, this would make so much more sense," he laughed, taking ahold of one of the papers. "It reads: Admit 1: Paris. August 1, 2014. Date for two."

"That doesnt even make-" you started to reply, but that was when it hit you. You were going to Paris with James, the city of love.

"Wow, babe. This is so beautiful," you state, looking at the eiffel tower that was now in front of both of you. You stared at James, noticing how passionate he was. He looked so good in the dark as the stars outlined his perfect jaw line. He nodded.

"Not as beautiful as you," James smoothly said, snuggling into your neck as he wraps as arm around your shoulder.

"You seem cold," he observed, taking his coat off. "Here, take my jacket."

He draps his light sweatshirt around you, connecting his hand with yours. You walked around, looking at all the unique stores and bakerys, but something kept drawing you back to the effiel tower. Maybe it was the way itd light up the sky, or maybe it was that youve just never seen anything like it before. you knew that was the place to tell James the news, and apparently James did too.

"Follow me," James smirked, pulling you through the large crowd and into the grass by the big tower. "We're almost there, baby. Dont worry, I got you."

You gazed in awe, spotting what he had set up. Rose pedals down the path, and a certain sparkly thing that had stuck out at the end.

"James-"

"Shh, shh, shh, shh," he interuptted, placing his index finger over your soft lips. "My turn for talking."

You nodded in return, tears forming into your perfect eyes.

"Im not the best at this. This is my first time, so bear with me." we both laughed at his witty comment. He grabbed both of your hands, crouching down on one knee.

"I love you. I knew from day one I loved you. You are everything I want, everything I could ask for, and everything I need. Your smile could light up a room, after all, it lights my heart up everytime I see it," he sniffs, knowing he was getting all emotional. "Youre so beautiful and I am for sure the luckiest guy out there to find someone as good as you. I want to wake up in the morning knowing that youre not going anywhere, knowing youre mine forever. I want to grow old with you, I want to experience everything our parents did not. I promise to take care of you. I love you so much. Will you marry me?"

"James, I'm pregnant," you admit to him, watching his face turn to happy just to pale white. You didnt want to ruin the moment for him, but this was probably something he should know before a huge commitment.

"Youre what?" he replied. Puzzled, he had to take a seat. He honestly looked some sort of sick. He was probably just relieved, excited, and surprised at the same time you inferred.

"Now you probably dont want to marry me, huh?" you joked.

"Are you kidding?" James exclaimed, getting up as he twirled you around. "This, this is perfect. I couldnt be happier. My soon to be wife, and my soon to be child." He rubs your still skinny belly, making kissy noises.

You laugh at him, throwing a flower his way.

"Wait- you did say yes, right?" he quickly questions you, kissing you lightly on your forehead.

"Nope, I hate you James David Maslow," you shout as you now put yourself in a flower war.

"Baby?" James asks, looking up at the starry sky. You guys were now laying on James' colorful picnic blanet, watching as the stars lit up the sky.

"Yes Jamie?" you say, glancing pver at him noticing the water droplets going down his cheek. "No babe, dont cry. Dont cry."

"I just couldnt be any happier than right now. Im in  the perfect place with a perfect girl. Were engaged and were having a baby! I love you so much."

"I love you too, babe."

"Forever yours?" He holds up his pinky finger, resting his head on your shoulder.

"Forever mine," you promise, grasping his pinky in yours. Forever and always.
