My first day of Junior year...
Great.
"Natalie wake up!" My mother yelled from the kitchen.
"I am up!" I shouted back. I was actually already dressed and ready to go, my backpack was waiting for me to put it on. Like my father always said 'it's good to be ahead of the game, more opportunity to catch'. I would always stand by that and love to hear his voice say those very words.
Unfortunately he is no longer with us. He was a good man with a great heart and he knew that ever since I was a little girl I would be going to Yale. He went to Yale and his father went to Yale and his fathers father went to Yale. And so on and so fourth.
I was an only child though. My life was organized on a yellow brick road to be skipped on and to never step on a crack. I guess you could say I had a long line of perfection to strive for.
I ate my cereal and banana before walking out the door and getting into my car. My car was a little black convertible. It wasn't that good of a car but it was my fathers car so it means a lot to me.
It was a quiet peaceful drive with the sound of leaves brushing and birds tweeting.
I arrived at the school with 20 minutes to spare before all of the busses pulled in. I headed to my locker and put all of my binders and folders inside of it. Everything where it's supposed to go and nothing to be out of place.
I went to the office to get my schedule, as I was in there I saw a young boy I've never seen before, he had on this greenish jacket and he had on black skinny jeans and yellow timberlands.
I glanced at him and then we both walked out of the office. We went separate ways and I knotted my neck to see where he was going and I saw him going into the nurses office.
Sick on the first day excuse wow.
I have never missed a day of school in my life and. Everything had to be perfect for me.
