"I see

Every part of you

Taking over me

All, All I'll be

Is just another headshot you keep"

The next day, Jungkook was making a black coffee for his best friend, Yoongi, when the door chimed and another customer entered the shop. Jungkook welcomed them without turning around while he finished brewing the coffee. He turned around with Yoongi's coffee in his hand, but dropped it when he saw the man smiling at him.

"Ow," he mumbled, feeling the burning hot coffee that had splashed onto his legs burn into his skin.

Yoongi chuckled. "Always a clutz, Kook." He grabbed some napkins and helped his friend clean up the coffee that was sinking into the floor.

After the coffee was cleaned up, thanks to Yoongi's help, Jungkook stood up, blushing out of embarrassment. "Sorry, Yoongi. I'll make you another one." Jungkook rubbed the back of his neck while he chuckled.

Yoongi nodded while Jungkook faced the other male. "Sorry about that. What would you like today?"

The handsome man tapped his chin with a finger. "Well, that pumpkin spice bread from yesterday was absolutely delicious, so I'll take a slice of that, and you can surprise me with the drink."

Jungkook laughed as he took the man's card, and then motioned for him to sit down again, and he sat next to Yoongi. While Jungkook was making both orders, the man turned to Yoongi.

"You two friends?" Yoongi nodded. "This is only my second time here. I just moved here. My name is Kim Taehyung."

"Min Yoongi," said the oldest, flashing a small, closed-mouth smile.

"Have you always lived in Busan?"

Yoongi shook his head. "No, I moved here a few years ago. I'm originally from Daegu."

Taehyung almost jumped out of his chair. "No way! I just moved from Daegu! My boyfriend is from here, so he wanted to move to be closer to his mom, who has been sick."

"Busan is a nice place, once you get used to it. Plus, it has great people." Yoongi smiled as he watched Jungkook work.

"Are you together?" Taehyung asked curiously. Yoongi immediately laughed.

"No, we're not. He's just my best friend." Yoongi felt his heart sink just a little bit saying those words. He had had feelings for Jungkook since they first met, but he knew the other didn't feel that way about him. Jungkook walked over with Yoongi's coffee, being careful to not drop it this time around.

"Here you go, Gramps." Jungkook laughed at his own joke, which Taehyung found adorable.

"Ha. Ha. Ha." Yoongi rolled his eyes. "I'll see you later, Kook!" Yoongi waved farewell to Taehyung before leaving the shop.

"Shit!" Jungkook said, startling Taehyung. "I forgot about your order! Let me get to that. I am so sorry." God, I can't be getting so distracted by him.  I can't go through the pain again.

Taehyung laughed, standing up from his chair to lean against the counter, closer to where Jungkook was working on his drink. "Not a problem. I'm not in a hurry."

"So," Jungkook began, not making eye contact. "What's your name?"

The stranger watched the younger working. "Kim Taehyung. What's yours? I heard Yoongi calling you Kook."

Jungkook nodded. "I'm Jeon Jungkook. He calls me Kook. I like the name Taehyung. It flows easily off of the tongue."

Taehyung laughed loudly at the statement. "Thank you?"

Jungkook chuckled nervously as he handed the customer his surprise drink and a bag with the slice of bread. "It's nice meeting you officially, Kim Taehyung."

Taehyung flashed his box smile that made Jungkook's heart flutter. "I'll see you next time, Kookie."

Kookie? Jungkook watched as Taehyung exited the shop without turning back. He sighed deeply. He hated that just looking at the man made his heart race. He wasn't ready for anything serious yet. He didn't think that he could handle it after what had happened a year ago.

Jungkook ran his fingers through his hair in frustration. He had to stop himself from developing feelings for Taehyung. He couldn't let himself get hurt again.
