I wake up to the sound of my alarm going off, I groan and flop over and turn it off. I pause for a couple of seconds before sitting up and getting out of bed.
Knowing it was already seven o'clock I walk into my bathroom and get in the shower, making sure not to get my hair wet and to take my shampoo and crap out before I forget and leave.
I take a quick ten minute shower and get dressed with the only outfit not packed up. I throw on a pastel pink shirt and tie it up on the side with some denim shorts and a sweater.

I apply little to no makeup at all, and take out my french braids leaving my hair in a wavy pattern.
I head down stairs with a couple of boxes and place them in the walk way of the front door. I do this about five more times before I have all of my belongings downstairs.
I walk over to the kitchen to see a cup of coffee, some eggs, and bacon with a note. It says, "I will be back in a couple minutes make sure you have your stuff down stairs and be ready."
I scarf down the food and clean my plate. I check my phone and it says its 7:46 am. The movers should be here in about fifteen minutes.
After about ten minutes my mom walks into the door and kiss's me on my head asking if I was ready and completely packed. I told her yes and then then the door bell rang.
I get up and walk over to the front door, opening it and greeting the workers. They begin to take the boxes out to their little truck. After a good thirty to forty five minutes later they were done and on there way to my grandma's house.
Its now going on nine o'clock and we're supposed to go to the airport about an hour or so before the flight, so my mom and I decide on going out to eat.
Its now 10:13 and were on our way to the airport. It's a timeless drive it feels stuffy and cramped though there is nothing in the car other than my mom and I.
We arrive to the airport around 10:30 and we still have thirty minutes to get me checked in, go through security, say our goodbyes, and on the plane. We make it through all of that with still time to spare and where saying our goodbyes now.
My mom starts, "Okay you're going to do great at grandmas you're going to meet new people, make new friends, finish school, possibly get a job. You are going to be okay. I love you baby, I will always love you this is going to be a new start for both of us!" She wipes a tear away waiting for me to respond, "I love you too mom and I know you're not doing this for the hell of it, I love you and I will try to call or text you everyday." I open my arms and give her a huge bear hug, we stay like this for a minute or two telling each other sweet things and saying everything is going to be okay.
"FLIGHT 217 IS BOARDING NOW I REPEAT FLIGHT 217 IS BOARDING NOW." The lady standing behind the desk speaks over the intercom. I look my mom in the eyes and say I love her one last time and that everything will figure its self out and be positive.
I bend down and pick up my little backpack and a give my mom one last kiss goodbye and start to walk towards the entrance of the plane. I tell my self not to look back and fight the urge to run into my moms arms and cry but I need to brave.
I find a seat by the window and get situated the lady on the intercom goes through the requirements of the plane, and soon where off. This is going to be a four and a half hour flight to Cleveland, Ohio. I plug in my ear buds, turn on my music, and close my eyes and wait.
