Chapter 9.

I watch him walk him off and I turn back to the line I was in to pay for my food. I finish paying and go to sit down and try to find someone to talk to. I limp over to a table with two girls that seem to be nice.

"Hi i'm Emily, i'm kinda new and I was wondering if I could sit with you guys?" I ask sweetly with a smile.

"Sure i'm Jasmine or Jazz and this is Aurora" She says pointing to Aurora as I take a seat.

"That was pretty brave of you sticking up to Eliot not everyone has the guts to do that, especially a new person." She blurts out while taking a bite of her hamburger.

I laugh, "Thanks I just don't assholes and he was really rude." We continue talking and go to our next classes and exchange numbers.

*End of school*

"How was you first day at Redwood High School, you like it?" Michael questions me as he helps me in the passenger seat of his car.

"Yeah its cool thanks for all of your help today Michael and you too Luke." I turn my head to back seat and i'm meet with three smiley boys.

He turns the car on and look both ways before pulling out and says, "Well i'm glad you like it here. By any chance do you want to come over to my house, the guys and I are going to order pizza and hang out tonight."   

"Sure that sounds great! Lemme just text my grandma." I pull out my phone and text her i'm going to hang with some friends and she says that's fine and just to be careful.

*Michael's House*

 Luke opens my door and takes my backpack out of my lap and swings it over his shoulder, "Here lemme help." 

"O-okay i'm fine though but thank you." I grab his hand and he pulls me into his chest and lightly picks me up and walks me to the front door with Michael in front and the others behind Luke and I. 

We all made it inside and make our way to the door to the basement. I look at the four boys that are surrounding me and say, "How the fuck do you want to do this, these are some steep ass stairs." 

The boys all glance at each other with a questionable look in their eyes and I chuckle.

"I'll carry you down the stairs." Michael volunteers but soon to be cut off by Luke.

"No you wont, you're not strong enough i'll do it!" I look back at both of them and figure this is not gonna end well.

"You know I would say i'm fine but i know i'm gonna hurt myself so Chris will you just carry me?" 

"But I said I would!" Luke and Michael say in sync and I just shake my head and limp over to Chris and he picks me up.

He looks at me with worry in his eyes with Michael, Luke, and Jake watching, "You ready?"

"No not really but if you drop me its your ass." He looks at me and his eyes go wide and I snicker. We eventually all make our way downstairs after a couple of gasps of thinking we where gonna fall.

Michael sits next to me and the guys and picks up the t.v remote and turns the t.v on along with the Xbox. He grabs a controller from the floor and looks at all of us.

He smirks, "Who wants to play Fortnite first?" 

"I do." I state quickly catching them all off guard assuming taking me as a person who would want to play.

"Alright M your up!" he says as he sets up a game for me.

"When did you start calling me M?" I ask laughing at his word choice.

He stands up and i'm meet with those sapphire blue eyes that make my heart skip a beat and I still don't know why.

He speaks taking me out of my thoughts, "I don't know but its cute on you....is okay if I call you that?"

I blush great full that we didn't turn on any lights other than the fairy lights hanging across the walls, "S-s-sure I like." 

Chris cuts in, "Alright enough with the cute shit, the real question is what do we want on our pizza?" We all go quite for a couple seconds thinking about this very difficult question.

"Pineapple!" I shout scaring Michael, Chris, Jack, and Luke half to death earning a few salty comments from them.

"Jesus Emily you fucking scared the shit out of me!" Michael shouts and Jack hits my shoulder saying, "Bloody hell don't do that to me geez." along with Chris saying, "Christ sake give us a warning next time!" and of course Luke saying, "Damn chill the fuck out."

I burst out laughing, "Sorry a girl knows what she wants!" 

"Well I guess its settled then, Pineapple it is!" Michael giggles which I find incredibly cute.

"Only on half get sausage on the other side" Jack immediately gets a dirty look from me.

"Alright i'm gonna order." Michael says still standing and grabs his phone from his front pocket.  

While we wait for the pizza I start off playing Fortnite getting five kills and feeling very proud of myself with cheers from the boys. We switch off playing until the pizza arrives about twenty minute later. 

"I got it!" Chris shouts over the "get him!" comments from Jack, Luke and Michael. I turn my head and nod as he runs up the stairs.

"Pizza boys!" I yell over the commotion as Chris and I pull out our piece of pizza from the box. I look up as I take a bite of the pizza and Michael's, Jacks, and Luke's head all whip over to Chris and I and run over to grab some. We are all sitting on the floor now of Michael's basement eating pizza talking, then someone comes up with an idea.

"You want to play truth or dare?" Luke says with a smirk as he looks at us.
