Next d&d spell to be turned into a quirk is the 2nd level Illusion spell Silence. I really have nothing to say RN other than I'm tired and my brain hurts so please enjoy.
Quirk Name: Silence
Quirk Type: EmitterGeneral Information: The quirk user can project an area of complete silence.
Passive Abilities: Ironically enough the quirk Silence has shown to have given the user slightly enhanced hearing.
Active Abilities: The user is able to project an invisible spherical field, roughly 25ft in radius, in which no sound can enter or be created. They can create this field up to roughly 100ft away from themselves.
Other Information: The user of this quirk is mute. It is suspected that the quirk itself is infact behind this. Visit the theories section for more on this.
The field itself has an interesting effect on voice/sound related quirks. While inside the field quirks like Present Mic's are rendered completely useless and are effectively erased. Quirks like Shinsou's Brainwashing are also useless here, as no one could hear or respond, though they are not erased.
Drawbacks:
1) Communication between allies is rather difficult when sound isn't producible. (This is fixed easily enough by learning sign language.)
2) Any attempts to make the spheres radius larger than 25ft end in a sever migraine for the user and ringing in the ears of those having been in the field.
3) Being rendered mute by ones own quirk is rather inconvenient when not everyone knows sign language.Weaknesses:
1) If the user is adequately disturbed the field could fall down. On that note, forced shut down via quirks like Erasure result in ringing of the ears, very similar to the ringing associated with trying to increase the fields size, to people previously in the field.
2) It can't do much of anything to enemies physically so fighting would be relatively inevitable, but hard keeping in mind the first weakness (Though admittedly suddenly not being able to hear is rather disorienting and therefore serves as a good distraction).Theories:
1) The reason why the user mute is believed to be the quirk itself having put up a mental barrier against verbalizing and/or instilling into the subconscious mind that doing so is somehow dangerous or bad.A/N
I feel done here. If you think something should be changed, expanded, ext ext please lemme know and I'll see about it. This quirk is up for grabs for use, first to ask for it gets it.
If ya got a quirk idea you just don't know how to flesh out or don't wanna bother lemme know cause I'll see about trying myself. If not I'm gonna do more d&d spells unless I get inspo from something else.
