♡24♡ One lifetime Arc - Beyond the distant time

Houzuki stared at the black creature from the entrance of the room the monster was caged in. Many sealing talismans were stuck on the bars of the cage but the monster always tried to attempt to come out. It was ramming into the right because Michiyo was in the room next door; an experiment was being conducted right now and everyone wanted to prove that the primary target for the black creatures were Ranfa or Michiyo and they decided to put either one of the twins in a room and see which way the monster will ram into. So far, it's 100% proven that the monster will always try to get out of its cage in rage depending how close Ranfa and Michiyo were. 

"These are time-eaters. I thought they were only a legend, I didn't think they'd be real." Houzuki said to Samon. "Legend has it that these creatures dwell in the infinite path, the space between countless lifetimes, a place where time itself doesn't exist." 

"So the reason for their hunger is because time is flowing again? But why Ranfa-chan and Michiyo-chan?" 

"Samon-san, these creatures are like chicks; they imprint themselves on the first thing they see. When they came out from the infinite space, they must have saw the twins and the Sakura-san and Michiyo-san that we know." Houzuki answered him. 

"I guess that makes sense." Samon began to think hard about this, "The day when Michiyo and No.413 disappeared from our world, the other world was conducting an experiment..." Samon finally got an answer as to why the two worlds connected but it really didn't make sense whatsoever! 

Both of them left the creature's room and head next door.

"By the way, how did you get Michiyo-chan next door without her knowing what's going on?" Houzuki asked. 

"I told her to study-" He opened the door to find the inmates from Cell 13 watching a video from Nico's smartphone, even though he had one, he's unable to make calls. 

"That's so funny and cute! It makes me want a panda now." Michiyo just watched a video of a mother panda peacefully eating up until her baby suddenly sneezed and made her jump. 

"Me too! I bet they will be so fluffy and cute!" Rock seemed to be in love with the said adminal too. 

"What should we watch next? How about some prank videos?" Uno asked Nico. 

"How about the ones titled 'This is why women live longer than men?" Jyugo suggested. He then looked at the work in front of Michiyo, "Is it okay for you not to study?" 

"I'm having a break." Michiyo lied. 

"WHAT ARE YOU MORONS DOING IN HERE?!" Samon had to beat the hell out of them and make them faint, and he only flicked Michiyo's forehead. "You should be studying. And your break ended 30 minutes ago."  

"But I'm bored. Why can't studying be fun?" She asked as she rubbed her forehead.

He smiled and he pat her head, "I know it's boring, but you need to study for a good job." 

"That's not true. Hajime said if idiot monkeys can land a job, a moron like me who procrastinates can get one too." 

"Who is he calling an idiot monkey?!" Samon snapped, "I am not an idiot! It takes vigorous training to become a Nanba guard!" 

As Samon carried on with the ranting, Michiyo looked at him up and down; if the Samon from her world also become a prison guard, he will look so cool too. Then again, the Samon from her world was very smart and intelligent, he could go further than to become a prison guard. She wondered what she and he will grow up to become in their own world... She smiled upon the thought of having a future with the Samon from her own world.
