Description:
My name is Hae Rhee, and I want to tell you a story about the first time I fell in love with a man.
I have fallen in love once before him, but it was with the trees. The forest, to be more exact.
The hushed whispers of the trees communicating to one another relaxes me.
The hummingbird's song becomes my only music.
The creatures swimming about in the stream become my company.
I live my life in complete tranquility with little to no problems or secrets.
But, that all ended in the spring of my junior year when my sister returned home.
Only this time, she brought more than her high heels, nagging, and judgment.
This time she brought a fiance.
And, I found myself loving something other than the trees.
