My Unstable Mate

Chapter 7

Ari POV

"Arizona wake up! You need to get ready for school!" my dad said knocking on my bedroom door. 

I groaned and put a pillow on my head. "I guess she is sleep. Jasmine, you can have her Blueberry Waffles instead."

I got up and ran to my bedroom door so fast I also got whiplash. I nearly yanked the door off the hinges again. "You will NOT touch MY waffles. Or you will never see another day." I said pointing at Jasmine with my finger with my head sticking out of my room. 

"I will be back for my waffles. If someone touched or took a bite out of it, I will find out." I said slowly putting my head back in the room. Before I closed the door I took another peak, glaring at them and shut the door behind me.

I did my morning routine. Meaning I brushed my teeth, did my hair, showered, dressed, and all of that jazz. Hehe that was funny. 

'Not really... That was lame.'

'Oh shut it Ariella. You are just jealous you cannot make hilarious jokes.'

'You call that hilarious? The only hilarious thing is how you think you are funny."

'Oh shut up.'

I cut the link before she could say anything else. My wolf is really the opposite of me. I am more of a 50-50 of mean and nice. Ariella is just plain sassy, sarcastic and rude. It is rare if she is nice.

'I could be nice if I did not have a softy/moron as my human.'

I groaned and ignored her. Sometimes I have to remember that if I insult her, I end up insulting myself.  

I opened my bedroom door and walked down the stairs to the kitchen just in time to see someone looking at my waffles. I ran and grabbed my plate of waffles and growled at the person.

"I was not looking at your waffles. I was uh... looking for the syrup." Jazz said smiling sheepishly and ran away. I shook my head and sat down with my waffles on the table.

After I finished eating my waffles, I grabbed my bag and keys and ran out the door while saying my goodbyes. I put my bag in the bag in the backseat and drove to school.

I arrived at the school 15 minutes later and parked my Cadillac Srx. I grabbed my bag and locked the door while walking in the school to my locker.

I heard gasps and gossip going round from the humans. I guess they found some rumors about most of the kids at school disappearing. I wonder what they came up with this time. 

I stopped when I saw my mate at his locker. I was too scared to approach him because of what happened that day. He must be terrified of me now. When he closed his locker, he turned around and I gasped. I growled in anger at the bruises and marks that littered his skin. 

I could not help but approach him. "What happened to you?!"

He just trembled in fear at me. He looked down and mumbled, "its nothing. Now go away." 

I growled. I pulled him into a empty classroom and locked the door before turning back to him. "Its nothing?! Yeah right! Now who did this."

"I am not going to tell you anything. Now go away before I yell."

I growled and walked to the corner of the classroom and paced around in anger. My wolf was trying to get out. I punched the wall and put my hand up to my forehead while groaning in pain. 

I plead to my wolf to calm down, but she keep on growling and trying to get out to hurt the people who hurt our mate.

I felt a hand on my shoulder with tingles. I felt the pain die down when the tingles came. I turned to him and looked confused as to why he would touch a monster like me. 

"I just saw you in pain and wanted to see if you was ok." He said scratching the back of his neck.

"Um, thanks." The bell ringed and we snapped out of our trance. 

"I am uh going to go." Jasper said walking away. When he unlocked the door and opened it, he gave me a last glance and disappeared out the classroom. 

I ran my hand through my hair and blew out a breathe of air in annoyance at my wolf. I started walking to class after I grabbed my stuff.

'A touch on the shoulder is progress from mate.'

'Yeah I guess, but I wish this could have been a faster process. Its been a while and the most we went was a touch on the shoulder.'

'Give it time.'

'I am still mad about that stunt you played earlier. I have a headache because of you.'

'I WILL murder those people who hurt mate. No matter what.'

'Bbut the murder will track back to me.'

'Oh well.'

I rolled my eyes and arrived to my classroom and sat in my seat.

The bell ranged for lunch, I got out my seat and walked to my locker and grabbed my lunch. I started walking to lunch when I smelt blood. 

I started walking in the direction the stench was coming from and saw Jasper and a group of kids. This boi is a magnet for Jocks. 

"Leave him alone!"

"Go away little girl. Its none of your business." One of the boys said.

"No. Now I told you to leave him alone."

"Look, he told you to back-off. Now leave." One of the 5 females said.

"Or what?" I said crossing my arms.

"Or, I will mess you up,like I did with him."

I stood my ground and the boy shrug before coming at me trying to punch me. I dodged and kicked his legs out from under him. He got up and ran at me again. I punched his chest and when he was crouching, I grabbed the back of his head and slammed his head on my knee making him fall on the ground with a K-O.

I looked up at the others and they looked terrified.  guess I must have beat up their leader. I took a step towards them and they ran off. 

Just because I am small and a girl, does not mean I cannot kick ass.

 I laughed and turned towards jasper in a heap on the ground. I walked up to him and see his passed out with blood coming from his nose. 

'Jazz, I need you to bring Ramona outside behind the building. Hurry Jasper is hurt.' 

'We are on our way.'
