After dinner we all were free to do what we wanted. Except cause problems in the hotel. Nicole, Jenny, Asher, Me and Nick all decided to head down to the lounge and see what was there to do.
"It's like an adventure!" Jenny exclaimed. She had been bouncing off the walls since after dinner.
"Alright, who gave Jenny caffeine?" Asher grumbled.
Nicole's eyes went wide. "Oh...were we not suppose to do that?" She rubbed the back of her neck laughing uneasily.
Nick stared at her. "Well unless you want a death wish.."
"Or the end of the world." Asher muttered. I started cracking up laughing. I didn't know what was so funny but I was just laughing. "Don't tell me you got caffeine too..."
"Sorry.." Nicole started laughing.
"You're insane!" Asher and Nick exclaimed. Nick facepalmed himself while Asher squeezed the bridge of his nose. "Jesus.." He grumbled.
Jenny and I were laughing hard when Swallen walked over to us. "What's so funny?" He asked.
I bit my lip trying to force more laughter down. "Nicole gave these two caffeine." Asher explained.
"Oh boy...have fun with them." Swallen shook his head. "Nick I wanted to talk to you."
"Yeah sure. I'll be back guys." Nick said and followed Swallen somewhere private.
"I said I was sorry..." Nicole muttered.
Asher laughed. "Don't worry about it. It's hilarious what happens with these two, we just try to avoid it."
"Yeah well, no one told me that." Nicole grumbled looking frustrated.
"It's perfectly fine. Now you know." Asher said chuckling as he watched me and Jenny screw around.
"Hey we could act like Brittany!" I exclaimed and found a mirror in the hallway. I pretended to fluff my hair and act like a total prep.
"No, it's more like this!" Jenny started doing the same just a little better than I. Asher cracked up laughing. Nicole was biting her lip to keep herself from laughing. "Oh my god, there's a hot guy over there! I'm gonna go flirt with him until he gets annoyed and I make a fool of myself!" Jenny laughing in a mock preppy voice. Asher began to laugh harder while Nicole finally broke down and started laughing. I was on the ground rolling with laughter. "Look at that cute top!" Jenny mocked. "Oh no! My make-up's messed up! I'm gonna borrow a mellophone's bell to fix it!" We were all laughing to the point we were crying when Nick came back.
"What's so funny?" Nick looked confused. "Did I miss something?"
The look on Nick's face was priceless. It made us all laugh harder.
"Come on guys!" Nick grumbled.
"Oh let me practice in cheer shorts so the guys can look at my ass!" Jenny mocked.
Nick stared at her. "What's up with your voice...?" He looked even more confused.
"Dude, she's pretending to be someone in the marching band!" Asher said in between laughing and gasping for air.
"Oh....Oooohh!" The little light bulb in Nick's head finally turned on and we saw recognition flash across his face. He started laughing.
"Okay...okay I'm done." Jenny said in between laughing herself.
"My lungs hurt!" I exclaimed laying on the hallway floor. Making everyone else laugh a little. I stood up and brushed myself off and wiping tears from me laughing so hard away.
"I feel like I was crying!" Nicole laughed a little and whipped her face off too.
"God Jenny, that was fucking hilarious." I laughed. "You'd make a hell of an actress." I added.
Asher shook his head. "I agree. I needed that."
"Thanks guys. Let's just keep that to ourselves though." Jenny giggled.
"Who know's what Brittany's wrath is like." Nicole shuddered.
I shuddered as well and started down the hallway again, the others beginning to follow.

Jenny, Nicole and I headed back to our room around midnight. We were all drop dead tired but decided showers and chatting a little was more important.
"So...you and Asher huh?" Nicole smirked.
"They're so cute together! They've been together for a few months now." Jenny smiled.
I gave a small laugh. "Ask Jenny what it was like before we started dating. We weren't so "cute"." I said.
Jenny's happiness seemed to die a little. "God they fought every freakin day. And they both have bad tempers, so it was kinda horrifying."
Nicole shook her head. "Most good couples are like that." She said. "They fight like married couples and then start dating and everything settles down. I don't understand it sometimes."
I wanted to change the subject. I didn't normally like talking about love and all that stuff. "So was anyone else curious why Swallen wanted to talk to Nick?"
"Avoiding the subject are we?" Jenny smirked.
I glared at her. Nicole laughed. "Come on Mak, it's not that bad of a thing to talk about. I think you two are cute."
My glare got worse. "Guys seriously. Come on. Talk about something less girly. Please?"
"As you can tell Makenna isn't a big girly girl."Jenny said smiling.
"Yeah, major tom-boy here. I don't like all that "pretty pink, fru-fru" stuff. Sorry." I grumbled.
Nicole laughed. "Alright. I actually was wondering what Swallen wanted too. I mean, I guess it's really none of our business."
"But Nick's also part of our drumline family. Even if he doesn't play with us." I said. "I think we should get to know why Swallen wanted to talk to him." I said fiercely.
"Well, we can ask Nick what he wanted tomorrow after our performance. It's late and I'm knock out tired." Jenny said sleepily.
I nodded, still not happy that I didn't know what was going on. But my eyes felt heavy and I yawned, finally realizing just how tired I really was. Nicole, Jenny and I said our goodnights and laid down for the night. About ten minutes later Brittany walked in the room and got ready for bed then was out in her own bed as soon as she hit the pillow. I lay awake for a few more minutes then finally sleep over came me and I was fast asleep.

Oh my god, I'm soooo sorry this took so long to upload. Marching band started and things have gotten so freakin busy. I hardly have time anymore for anything. I love marching band but god my band director's gonna kill the band if he keeps us running like this. We have practices every evening right after school. We only get Sunday's to ourselves and sometimes Saturday...but now with our contest season starting we're sooo freakin busy!
Ugh! Anyway...enough with the complaining. I hope you guys like it. And I also wanted to say that whenever I'm on and not busy I can answer any questions about my band family, share stories or give any advice you guys happen to need. :) I love helping.
So anyway. I'll try to upload another chapter soon but with my schedule I might have to put my writing on hold for a while...I'm sorry.
Loves, Hannah
