"Here." Namjoon handed him a mug of steaming hot tea and sat down on the edge of the sofa. Yoongi snuggled into the blankets and sipped on the drink, he smiled thankfully at his leader.
"Are you sure it's her?" Jin sat on his other side and laid a hand on his shoulder.
"Yeah, it could've been a lookalike!" spoke up Jhope.
"No, it was her. I would recognise her anywhere." Yoongi shook his head, his face growing more downcast. "Except when I saw her, there was something different about her. She looked exhausted and like things have gone badly for her. I want to understand everything that's happened to her, but that's impossible now. I'm nothing but an ex."
"But don't you think it's fate?" asked Jimin, relaxing his arms on the coffee table, that he sat behind. "I mean, you are meeting after all these years. Don't you think there's some deeper meaning behind it? I know how you guys were before she left, do you want to give up all of that?"
"Yeah," agreed Jungkook. "You guys are like soulmates, maybe her coming back here was for a reason."
"What about her music career?" questioned Taehyung. "Wasn't that going well for her?"
Yoongi shrugged and said, "The last I heard was that she had been touring throughout Europe and had just come back to Korea. It's possible things haven't worked out for her after that..."
"That's so tragic." Jimin pouted. "She's so talented."
"I know." A wistful sigh left Yoongi's lips, and he sipped slowly on his tea.
"Well, it might be awkward, but why not send her a message? Just so she knows you're worried about her," proposed Jin.
"I don't know." Yoongi glanced down. "Like I said, I can't achieve anything as her ex."
"You can still be friends though, right?"
"You won't know unless you try."
"Ok, ok." He agreed, just to hear the pity in their voices stop. "I'll text her later, happy?"
With their conversation about Seung finished, they all turned their attention to the TV and watched a movie and ordered a takeaway.
Before long, the guys were full and drowsy. Their eyes drooped and soon they couldn't stay awake; Yoongi was the only one left. His mind was racing, making it hard for him to rest and sleep like the others. Sighing, he picked up his phone from the side table and searched for Seung's number.
I really hope she hasn't changed her number...
