"You mean it?" She pulled away from him and looked at his face, all she saw there was sincerity and the concern he had for her.
"I do." Yoongi flashed her his signature gummy smile. "I forgive you, Seung."
She pulled away from him completely and stood up; she began pacing and fiddling with her hands. "I hurt you, Yoongi. Something I never wanted to do. How can you forgive me so easily?"
"Because I love you," he simply replied. "I understand why you left, and like I said you had to take this opportunity. Who knows when you would have gotten another one."
She collapsed on the sofa next to him and took his hands in her own ones. "You still love me?"
"Yes..." Yoongi swept the messy hair out of her eyes and tucked a strand behind her ear. "I never stopped loving you." One of his hands remained on her cheek and she leaned into it, revelling in his touch.
"But that's not why I'm here." He took his hand away and stood up. "Come with me."

It took a while to convince her to leave the house, but now they stood on the windy pier. Masks kept out most of the chill that the wind carried, and they both looked out over the churning waters that stretched out before them.
Seung sat on a bench, huddled in her coat, and trained her eyes on Yoongi who stood with his back turned to her. "We first met here, do you remember?"
"Yes, you were dancing and rapping with your friends and I stopped to watch." Seung joined him in remembering the past. "You were so cool."
Yoongi laughed and turned back to her. "Things were so simpler then. We were so happy, but then it all changed when you left."
"I'm sorry."
"Stop apologising!" his shout startled her. "I don't need your apologies. I've decided to look forward now. I have my idol career and now your back in my life. Just forgot what happened, we can start over again."
He sat down beside her and his gaze softened. "If you want to, that is."
"Aren't you going to ask me if the rumours are true?"
"No, I don't need to ask." Yoongi shook his head and moved closer to her, sharing his warmth. "I know the truth. You still love me, right?"
She swivelled her head so he couldn't see her wavering expression. He was making it so difficult for her. She had just wanted to come back and hide out in her home. But that wasn't how it played out. Seeing him again had rocked her little world, and feelings she thought she had buried deep flooded her entire being once more.
"Yes, I do."
As soon as the words left her lips, she was drawn into his arms again. A softness was pressed up against her forehead and she realised he had kissed her there. "I will never let you go again, Seung. I'm yours and you're mine."
