Sunlight coming through the cracks in the blinds woke Yoongi up that morning. He groaned in pain and rubbed his stiff neck. I shouldn't have slept on the sofa. He ran a hand over his face and tried to remove some of the sleepiness. That's when he noticed that the guys had all left, bar Jhope - who was singing in the attached kitchen.
"Jhope, what are you doing?" Yoongi joined Jhope in the kitchen and looked over his shoulder.
"I'm making breakfast."
Yoongi simply nodded and went to sit at the counter that separated the kitchen and living room. When Jhope was finished, he placed a plate filled with food in front of his tired friend. "This'll wake you up," Beamed the sunshine boy. "And here's some coffee. I know you love the stuff."
"Thanks." Yoongi showed him a small smile and then began to eat.
Jhope's voice broke the silence when he asked, "have you seen the latest news?"
Yoongi shook his head and shovelled some more food in his mouth. He hadn't watched the news in a while, so he wasn't really caught up with everything that's been going on in the world.
"You're going to want to see this."
With pity in his eyes, Jhope pulled out his phone from his pocket and started searching for something. He turned the phone around so Yoongi could get a proper look and the guy's eyes couldn't go any wider than what they were right now.
'Singer Yoo Seung is back in Korea. Today, she was met at the airport by our reporters and a swarm of fans, only for them to be shocked to see Seventeen's Hoshi by her side. They were caught holding hands and seemingly close. Are they dating? Read on to find out more.'
Yoongi couldn't read anymore because of his blood boiling and mist clouding his eyes.
This can't be true.
"Seung would never do this." Yoongi said out loud. "I need to go see her."
He quickly finished his breakfast and thanked Hobi. Then he rushed to get showered, dressed and out of the house.
He slammed the car door as soon as he was in the driver's seat and started the engine. Peeling away from the kerb he couldn't think of anything but Seung and if she was ok. He knew that in this industry how rough things can get with certain fans, especially those who are opposed to idols dating.

He arrived at the familiar street and stopped outside her house; except it was a lot different to what he remembered.
He got out of the car and went up the steps leading to the front door, as he got nearer anger bubbled up in him once again. Vulgar words were painted on the door and one window was boarded up. What happened here?
His anger cooled and changed to worry when he couldn't hear anything from inside - it was all too silent. He pounded on the door and yelled, "Seung, it's me open up!"
He didn't have to wait long before the door opened to a crack; he took that as a sign to enter and so he did.
Walking through the hallway and stopping in the living room's doorway, he saw Seung on the sofa with a fluffy blanket and just her hair could be seen. Through the blanket he could see her shaking. Tears threatened to fall as he took in the sight and he willed them back. I shouldn't be the one crying.
Slowly he walked over to her and sat by her side. Placing a comforting hand on top of the blanket, he said, "Seung, can you come out of there? It's just me."
Hesitating for a moment, Seung thought it over and sat up, so the blanket fell away. Now Yoongi could see her better.
It's worse than I thought. Dishevelled hair, bare-face that set off the dark circles under her eyes and it looked like she had lost weight. In that moment, Yoongi forgot about the pain of the past and pulled her into his arms. Her face was now pressed against his chest and he could feel wetness from the tears that fell from her eyes.
"I'm sorry, Yoongi," she said through sobs. Her voice sounded so broken and matched the state of his heart.
"It's ok, Seung." He rubbed circles on her back. "It's not your fault. Your chance came sooner than mine, and I'm proud of you for seizing the opportunity. You should be proud of all the things you achieved."
