Lumine x Kody

The Beginning

(Kody's, POV)

             It's been three years since Lumine came to live with us and work as my bodyguard, he's taken over a lot of household responsibilities of his own free will of course.  Lumine is like the mom of the house he cooks, he cleans, he worries, and over all he's just a helpful kid.

              At first I despised Lumine I thought that he was only worrying and protecting me because it was his job, but I've come to learn that that was never the case at all in fact Lumine desperately wanted to be my friend.  Now a days he is my friend my one and only friend sure he can't be in class with me and yea he's a bit of a handful considering how large he is when he's in his full fledged wolf form, but I wouldn't get rid of Lumine for anything to me Lumine is priceless and he shall always be that way.

         Besides if I were to get rid of Lumine it wouldn't be simply kicking him out of the house oh no no no, I would erase every single memory he owns  he knows too much about me I've opened up to him he's seen me cry I couldn't let him walk off  knowing all that but as far as I know Lumine won't be going anywhere so he'll be alright.  

(OK GUYS SO THAT WAS JUST A BIT OF BACKGROUND FOR YOU LET'S MOVE ONTO THE REAL BEGINNING OF THE STORY)

        I stare outside and watch the bright orange and yellow leaves gracefully dance in the wind as they break free from the branches of the tall winding trees that stand in our back yard.  I think to myself.  "Ah, I love fall it's the most beautiful season each year."  Lumine enters the kitchen fully clothed a warm mellow smile plastered on his face, as he makes his way to the fridge to begin making breakfast for me and everyone else who has yet to wake up.  "Good, morning Kody!"  Lumine states happily while he hums to himself the little tune he plays each morning while he begins to crack open the eggs.  "Morning, Lumine."  I say plainly as I do most mornings unless I'm in a particularly good mood.  Summer is just about over and tomorrow will be the first day of school this year, I do not look forward to it because for one less time to spend hanging out with Lumine and for two I really don't enjoy the constant flow of bullies I get and this time I'll be going to a new school where people will ask the questions of "Oh, you're a witch cool what spells do you know?" or "Have you made any friends yet?" blah blah blah etc etc.  I really just wish that people would leave me alone for once I mean they do know that they aren't obligated to talk to the new kids just because they're new.

             Sure the teacher tells the kids to treat their new classmate with kindness but that doesn't necessarily require talking to them.  I continued dreading school until Lumine snapped me out of it.  "Kody, hey hey Kody! KODY!"  I broke out of my miserable trance and stared in shock at Lumine who was now only inches away from my face staring at me with intense worry and a bit of anger. "Oh what sorry Lumine I-I was.....uhm spacing out."  I stuttered a large blush plastering across my face as I began to get this strange feeling in my chest as if I couldn't breathe but I was breathing.  I felt my face redden even more and my nose began to bleed causing Lumine to worry even more. "Kody! Your nose it's bleeding!"  He said as he ran off grabbed a tissue and scurried back getting even closer to my face now to wipe the blood off but that only made it bleed more.  I began to wonder "Do I have a crush on Lumine?"
