Falling into blue eyes😭

Life took a turn

Lakota, she is a very happy loving, out going, young woman. Lakota had it going for her perfect grades, "perfect" life. Great friends. The only wrong thing in her life was her boyfriend Kalob.
Kalob was addicted to heroine. Even though he was doing drugs she always was supportive of him. She stuck around to long. He started telling her "Your a worthless piece of shit. You deserve to die". One night Kalob beat her, he also got ahold of her and sexually assaulted her. The next day he calls saying " I'm so sorry it will never happen again" being Lakota she goes back to his house.
That night he gets drunk with a bunch of friends, he ran up stairs and a few minutes later her sister fallows him up stairs. Lakota questions it so she ran up stairs. She opens the door to catch him cheating on her with her sister. She runs out crying, screaming, yelling. She doesn't know what to do. She runs home and sits in her room wonder what lead him to this? She never did anything to deserve this. She sits up that night, crying waiting for him to call. She found the knifes in the garage, next to a bunch of blades. She picks up three blades, and goes down stairs to her room. She sits there thinking "why are I not good enough for him? Why did he want her? Did I not give it enough? What did I do?" She finally couldn't take it and she takes the blade to her wrist. She sliced her wrist and watched the blood fall to the floor. Still crying she keeps slicing.
She finally fell asleep. That next morning she woke up and put on her black long sleeve shirt and went down stairs to where her momma was. It was summer so of course her mom asked "Isn't it to hot for a sleeved shirt?" Lakota responded "No I'm freezing." Lakota went to school that day. She ran to her first class and that was gym, and in gym they can not wear long sleeves so she had to change .
Coach Lindsey pulled Lakota out in to the hall, she said "Lakota I see that you have cuts on your wrists and you need to go to the councilors office." Lakota just looks at the floor and nods. Walking to the office she sees the principal and she said "She's in her office" she nods. The Councilor had asked many questions, but what caught Lakota was that she said " I will now have to call your legal guardian. Is this a problem " Lakota looks up and starts crying. She know her mom will be upset. The counselor calls her mom, makes Lakota leave.
     Lakota walks in to her house and all she hears is " Lakota Lynn what the fuck are you thinking?" Lakota looks down. "Mom you don't understand." Her mom says to Lakota "Cutting is the quitters way out."
Lakota was not allowed to be alone that night . She stayed up stairs for 2 weeks and didn't go down stairs.
    Lakotas' mom says " Your moving out of Colorado and moving to Utah with your Dad." Lakota cries as she packs her clothing.
