Chapter 2

Alex POV

I woke up this morning with a text on my phone-screen from Adrian. It read 'can me and Lizzie walk to school with you guys if she wants to walk.' I finished reading and texted Sasha even though she was in the next room over. I didn't want to wake her or go in her room, and if she'd be taking a shower in her bathroom (that just so happens to be connected to her bedroom). The power went out when I heard Sasha's door open from her bedroom. I went out into the hallway. It was so fucking dark that I bumped into something, or someone, I then heard a scream, when i looked down on the floor i saw sasha ¨you fucking bastard you scared the shit out of me!¨ Sasha said holding up her hand to her heart. ¨Sorry, but the power went out so...¨ ¨You could fucking use the flashlight that's in your room, you moron." "Ya ya, anyway, can Adrian and Lizzie walk to school with us?¨ ¨Sure, but please don't act like an idiot.. please." I just laughed and went to the bathroom to take a shower. By the time I was done the power was back on. I went to my room to get changed into my clothes for today. I pulled on my ripped blue jeans and favorite lakers jersey and a pair of black timberlands. Then i went down to eat breakfast. My mom was making pancakes with my sister's help. When they finished my mom served the pancakes and went to work. We ate our breakfast and headed out to go to school. We met Adrian and Lizzie at the crosswalk.

Adrian POV

When we got to the crosswalk we waited a few minutes before I saw Sasha, Alex and Alex's girlfriend Karolina in the distance. Lizzie and Sasha and I never liked Karolina, she was spoiled and such a drama queen. I never really told anyone about my crushes, but Alex seems to have figured out that I like Sasha. Maybe it's just to obvious. Sasha is wearing clothes that fit her absolutely perfectly, I couldn't help but stare until Lizzie elbowed me. Lizzie has known about my little crush on Sasha for about a year now, ever since she read my god forsaken journal that I left out on my desk that one night. I was so naive to think she wasn't gonna come sneak into m y room to read it. She confronted me about it the next day and I couldn't deny it, I am in love with Sasha Nowakowski (which by the way means the new one). When I came back from la la land Sasha, Alex and, Karolina were standing right infront of us.Then Lizzie whispered in my ear "You should thank me, I helped her pick that outfit out!" I looked at her, a pink tint displayed on my cheeks, and gave her a 'shut up' look. She smirked devilishly. Then when I looked up at Alex and his girlfriend, Alex and karolina were absorbed in a kiss, not a french but easily more aggressive than how you'd kiss a relative.. Sasha looked over at her brother then jokingly made a 'disgusted' face at me, she contoured to the two lovers then not to hard, but not to lightly, punched Alex's shoulder making him whine, "Owwwiieeee" and he lightly punch Sasha in retaliation. Sasha out of nowhere said "Oh yeah, I almost forgot!" and took off her book bag.

Sasha POV

Right before I went out the door i grabbed 1 of my Mom's famous lemon cake squares from the cake dish because I know they're Adrian's favorite. When I looked up mine and Adrian's eyes met, i started to stutter a bit, trying to offer the lemon cake to him "uh-uhh d-do yo-you want t-this um.. lemon square? It's your favorite, my mom's famous lemon cake square." Adrien looked down slightly to meet my eyes with an expression of awe, I saw a blush rise to his cheeks and a blush started creeping up my cheeks as well. I looked down at my Nike track shoes. Lizzie broke the awkward silence by saying, "Well, if we didn't don't walking now we're never gonna get there on time."

Karolina's POV

I noticed that Adrian blushed when Lizzie whispered something to him. I giggled, ¨What's so funny?¨ Alex was looking at me in confusion. ¨Adrian is blushing!¨ Alex looked at Adrian and started laughing. ¨Dude this is the first time I saw you blush that hard!¨ He was pointing now. ¨Shut the fuck up, Alex. ¨Then I lost it, I started laughing to death.¨ Would you guys stop?¨ Adrian looked pissed and kinda embarrassed. ¨You answer that.¨ I told him when I started to calm down. ¨Anyway, why where you blushing?¨ I asked him ¨None of your beeswax!¨ He snapped back. "Everything is my business." "Dude can you control your girlfriend?" Adrian asked Alex "I don't know, can I?" Alex sneered in a high pitched voice. Adrian rolled his eyes then Lizzie spoke up, "Can we go now?" We all shook our heads and started walking. I looked at Sasha to see if she heard anything we said, but nope, she had earbuds in, completely oblivious. I bet it's Kpop, she is obsessed with Kpop.
