Aaron's p.o.v
I watched victoria leave the scrapyard and not long after Robert showed up in his car. I had the door open so I saw him pull up.
"Hey" Robert said smiling at me while I was filling out important paperwork.
"Hey" I replied quickly glancing at him.
"What have I done now ?" He asked me
"Nothing just need to make sure this paperwork is done, it's important" I said still not looking at him.
"So when are we going to tell people ?" He asked and that caught my attention
"Vic knows" I said and he looked shocked
"How does she know ?" He asked
"Dunno, woman's intuition" I replied jokingly
"Really you got to be joking, no way she guessed" he said back
"Yeah I'm joking, she tricked me" I said explaining to Robert what had just gone on about 5 minutes before he arrived.
"How did that happen ?" He asked me with a silly smile on his face.
"She said she'd been looking after seb all morning and I felt bad so I told her the truth and she saw you leaving the house earlier" I told him with a small smile.
We sat in the office for about 5 minutes more while i finished the paperwork
"Fancy going for a pint ?" Robert suggested
"What now ?!" I asked
"Yeah we can tell your mom all about us while we are there" Robert said I could tell he was dying to tell everyone we were back together.
I agreed.
We got in Robert's car and headed off to the pub. We walked in separately and I sat at one end of the bar and Robert sat at the other end.
"Hello, love ?" My mom said walking right over to me.
"I think Robert wants serving" I told her pointing Roberts way.
"Well he can wait" she said smiling at me. Just then Robert walked over and sat right beside me.
"Two pints please, chas" Robert said
"And you couldn't wait" she said being very off with Robert
"I could but Aaron needs to be back at work soon and I'd like to spend lunchtime with my husband" he told her and she instantly saw we had our rings back on.
"You have got to be joking me" she said while Victoria and paddy appeared in the door to the back of the pub.
"Congrats on getting back together" Vic said she looked so happy for us as for paddy and my mom they were not happy at all
"Aaron you're making a mistake" paddy said reminding him of what Robert did.
"No I'm really not" I said
"Love, is this what you really want ?" My mom asked me
"Yeah,I'm happy" I said reassuring her.
"Well I can't tell you what to do anymore, so I think its great love" she said finally accepting me and robert
