Y/N POV

Today is the day I move to Florida. I've been living in Texas since I was born and I was ready for change. I have everything packed in a moving truck outside my soon-to-be-old house. I look at it one more time and think about all the great memories I had in it.

I look at it for one more minute before I turn and climb in the front of the moving truck and drive away. Let the road trip begin. I connect my phone to the radio and shuffle my playlist. "When The Day Met The Night" by Panic! At The Disco came on and I started singing.

I was wearing leggings and a hoodie so I'd be comfortable the whole ride. It'd take about a day and a half so I'd be in a car for awhile. I had coffee with me so I should be ok. I can usually stay up for long periods of time so I shouldn't worry about being tired. I may get uncomfortable though. I should be able to deal with it. If I can't then that's my problem.

I finally get to Florida and the sun is starting to rise again. I was currently listening to "Heavydirtysoul" by Twenty One Pilots. I was stopping at a McDonalds so I could use the bathroom and get something to eat and drink. Once I'm ready, I leave. I have about eight more hours until I get to where I'm staying.

I keep driving and singing along to the radio until I got a call. I saw that my sister was calling and answered it.

"Hey, where are you?" She asks.

"I just made it into Florida, why?" I asked. My sister had morning shift so she was usually up this early.

"I just wanted to know. Tell me when you get to your house ok?" She responds.

"Oki I will," I say.

"Ok I love you, be safe," she says.

"I will and love you too, bye~" I say.

"Bye," she says.

She hangs up and I turn my playlist back on. "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers came on and I sung along to it.  And that's what I spent most of my time doing, driving and singing. Until I finally made it to my  new house.

The sun was now fully up and it was pretty windy. I get out of the car and stretch. I look around at the neighborhood and notice how nice it looks. I then look at the house.

It had a nice stone path leading to the porch. On the porch was a swing and a table with two chairs. The outside was this brownish color and had two windows in the front. The roof was a darker shade of brown. I look at the yard and it had medium cut grass. It was a light green color. I search for the key and when I find it I walk up to the door. It was about the same color as the roof. I unlock the door and walk in. I look around.

I stand in a little rounded area that goes off three ways. The left way looks like the kitchen. The right side is an empty area, which I assume is supposed to be the living room. In the middle is a stairway.

I walk towards the kitchen and see it's this minty color. Everything looks clean and new, which I like. It's pretty small but I'm fine with that. I'm living on my own so it's not like I'm going to need a lot of room.

Next to the kitchen is the dining room. It's the same minty color as the kitchen. It's a pretty big table with two chairs on each side. Too bad I'm going to be eating most of my meals on the couch. Speaking of couch I go back and walk towards the empty space. It's a pretty big area. It'd probably be able to fit all my decorations.

There's two rooms connected to the empty space. One's a bathroom and one's a laundry room. Then the living room wraps around and connects to the dining room which  leads to the back door. I open the door and step onto the back porch.

There's a small rusted grill that I'm probably going to get rid of on the left side. There's nothing else on the porch so I look at the backyard. The grass looks the same as the front. There's small trees that cover the back fence. I forgot to say that there's a fence that goes around the whole house. That's going to be useful when I decide I want a dog.

I go back inside and go upstairs. There's a hallway that splits at the end. The first door on the left is a bigger bathroom that's a dark blue color. I'm guessing the previous owner liked the color blue.

I walk a little further down the hallway to the closest door on the right. It's small enough to be an office. I can see myself putting my desk on one side and my art easel on the other. I walk out of the room and to the next door which is on the left.

It's big enough to be a bedroom. There was a small closet in the far right corner. I walk down to the end of the hall where it splits. I go to the left one first and it's a master bedroom. I guess the other one is a guest room. I walk in and look around. The walls were already f/c. I loved it so much. There's even a walk in closet.

There's another door and it leads to a small bathroom with a shower/bath thing. There's a door on the other side of the bathroom and I go through it. It's a smaller version of the master bedroom. This is the other side of the split hallway.

I walk back down the hallway and down the stairs. I just now realise that I left the door open. I face palm and walk outside. I sigh. This is the worst part of moving, carrying all your stuff in.

Keeping this outro short so you can keep reading. Hope you enjoyed the first chapter, bye~
