Fathers Day (Ch.9)

Thomas and friends check out my house and we talk for awhile. Roman said he called dibs on decorating my yard so I have him full access. He told me to give him a week and it should be looking nice.

After awhile they start to leave. The first being Logan. He said he had some research to do.

Then it was Roman. He said he had to look for yard decorations.

Then it was Patton. He said he had to go get new supplies for Patton Cake, whatever that is.

Then I was left with Thomas and Anxiety.

"So, Y/N, I saw that lovely little lady that you've bringing over. Tell me about her," Thomas says getting excited.

" I'll leave you two to talk about that, " Anxiety says before walking to the door, " bye guys. "

"Bye~" I wave at him as he walks out.

"Anyway," Thomas says putting his hands together like he just clapped, " who is the lovely lady? "

" She was my makeup manager for my most recent photo shoot. We went on a date and got to know each other. She's the one who helped me get decorations, she has a good taste in furniture, " I explain to him.

"Oooh. Well, I hope it works out well for you two," he says happily.

" Thanks. I hope it goes well too. I'm not good at the whole relationship thing, " I say starting to feel insecure.

"Don't worry about it. I'm sure it'll be fine. You've been a great person so far so she has no reason to not like you, " Thomas says comfortingly.

"Yeah, you're right. I have nothing to worry about," I reassure myself.

" I'm going to go now. I have to go see what the others are doing. If I leave them alone for too long then they'll burn down the house, " he says jokingly.

"I don't smell fire so we're fine for now. Bye Thomas," I say laughing a bit.

He laughs a bit too, " Bye Y/N. "

He leaves and now I'm sitting on the couch alone.

Then I remember that tomorrow was fathers day. I'll have to get him a gift.

I get off the couch and grab my keys and wallet. I drive down to the dollar store and look around. I decide to get a remote control car, since he likes cars, and his favorite snack.

I drive back home and change into sporty shorts and a comfortable tank top. I then leave and start my drive back to Texas.

~Time Skip~

It's early in the morning and I have just made it to my parents house. I get greeted by my sister who has answered the door.

"Oh hey sis, what are you doing here?" She asks.

" I came back for father's day. I got him a gift. Now let me in, I'm tired, " I say pushing past her.

"Ok geeze," she says closing the door.

I walk straight to my old bedroom. I shut the door and flip down on my bed. I immediately fall asleep.

I wake up at 10:10 am and get out of bed. I grab and out for from my clothing that I left here and take a shower.

After my shower, I walk downstairs.

"Y/N! I knew I recognized your car in the driveway," my mother says hugging me.

" Yeah, I came here for father's day. Speaking of which, where is he? " I ask hugging back.

We let go as she says, " He's out back working on something. You should go see him. "

"I'll grab my present for him and then head out there," I say before walking out to my car.

I grab the stuff and then walk out back. He looks up at me and smiles, " Y/N! "

"Surprise! Happy father's day!" I say cheerfully.

"Thank you so much. I'll add this to my collection," he says as he grabs his present.

We walk over to his favorite shelf and he adds it onto the next empty slot.

We all have brunch together and talk until I have to go back home.

I'm posting this on Father's Day so there won't be an update on Thursday this week. Anyway, have a good day my lovelies.
