"All I know is I love you too much to walk away."
-Eminem ft. Rihanna
~~~~"Win..." Scar said, clearing her throat as she released Blazes' hands "We were just talking."
They shared an awkward look before taking a step away from each other. Blaze suddenly looked embarrassed at being in such close proximity with a female that was not a family member or in many cases for him, a registered nurse who was stitching him up after a midnight bar brawl.
Scar to anyone who didn't know her for years would've said she looked almost bored with the whole ordeal, but by the twitch of her fingers and fidget on her upper lip; she was clearly trying to mask her clear discomfort in being caught in such a vulnerable situation. Her tough persona gone in a moment of what she would call weakness at laughing and being relaxed with a friend.
Winter continued to eye at them with suspicion, "Oh really? What about?"
"Nothing important." They said in unison. Sharing yet another look with red coating their cheeks in a flustered manner.
"It must have been important if it meant holding hands," She let out a small chuckle but it seemed forced.
"I was just telling April here that it must be tough having more than one person love her at the same time," Scar gave him a sharp look but he didn't bother to look in her direction, the side of his mouth was quirked up in a smirk he continued "I mean who likes being stuck in that sort of drama."
"What are you talking about?" Winter's eyebrows came together in a confused furrow. "How did you-who told you about her..."
"Oh!" Blaze clapped his hands together, causing both girls to jump in fright before really scaring them as he gave a wide smile "How rude of me! So yes, I learned that Mufasa's brother over here is actually April Morningstar and no worries, just like her I am not a snitch."
Winter could only nod in response, her mouth opened and closed several times before she was able to piece together a proper sentence.
"Okay, so let me try to wrap my mind around this because I'm still feeling a bit hazy on a few details."
"By all means," Blaze gave a wicked smile before jumping onto the counter "Ask away."
Winter took a step further into the spacious kitchen, her face scrunched up in the same manner that Scar had found cute on multiple occasions and often called it, Winter's thinking face. "You learned April's name. When exactly?"
Blaze Margo merely gave a roll of his shoulders in the laziest manner known to man before drawing out his answer, "I would say about three days ago, give or take."
"Okay," She nodded once, "Why exactly did I walk in on you holding hands? Are you one of these supposed individuals that you claim is in love with her?"
He laughed, a full on belly laugh that not only left a ringing echo in Marilyn's ear but it was so obnoxious and loud that even April, who felt incredibly insulted, reached over and gave him a clean hard punch to his shoulder. He gave her a glare before realizing just how rude it may have come off.
He explained, "Don't get me wrong. April is levels of bad girl hot and if she weren't such an asshole I could possibly consider having a fling or something with her; although, probably not because I am a dominant and so is she and that would result in neither of us being satisfied. Also, I am still very much getting over my love for my Violet. We were holding hands as nothing more than two-" He gasped to add effect. "Friends enjoying each others company."
