El usually looked around Mike's room whenever he wasn't home from school yet. That's why el probably has more knowledge about Mike's room than Mike himself.

And yes—El stays at Mike's home sometimes. Well , most of the time.
But no one really cares ; since they all know about The Snowball , am I right?
Okay back to the topic.

It was Monday morning , and usually on Mondays , Mike goes home a bit later than usual. It's all because of their AV club meetings. But El doesn't bother , since this gives her time to look around and find new crap in Mike's room. Just the other day she found a yellow shirt in his closet , which seemed oddly familiar.
" Benny " she thought to herself.
" where could he have gone? "

Today El looked around Mike's drawers. She hasn't looked in them yet so she decided why not.

It was messy. Full of unorganised papers. Requirements he hasn't passed. Surprisingly , some of Will's drawings. But the thing that really caught her eye was—

A photograph.

Not just any photograph.
It's a photograph of her and Mike , and it was taken by Jonathan during the snowball. At the back on the picture had the markings
" M.W + E.H " inside a heart.

" hm. Cute. "
It seemed that Mike treasured it dearly but kept it secret ... because of the markings.

El hugged the picture and smiled softly.

Til a loud slam was heard behind El.

" HI EL SORRY I'M LATE BUT I'M HOME NOW!! HEY WHAT'S THAT YOU— "

Mike stopped. Realising what El was holding.

" Oh uh-uhm you uh looked inside m-my drawer. "

" oh you stuttering mess! " El said.

El hugged Mike and smiled.

" oh well. I guess I have to be better at hiding things from you. "
" well it may just be because I'm a good seeker "
